Outdoor Growtogrow outside grow 2018

Looking great. I dig the chain-link cage, smart. Do you really think it's necessary for the scrog though? If you bought some plastic mesh it would be lighter and easier to work with. Last year I had some cucumbers that really had a problem with some metal tomato cages I had as they got too hot in the sun and were too unforgiving against the branches that were leaning on the metal wire.
Thanks perpet [emoji481][emoji482]
The cage is required in Michigan if u grow outside.
Well I'm a creature of opportunity if I have a chain link fence gate it works as a scrog net Shazam!! I'm going to use it.... I have 4 of them but didn't think the girls would reach the others by the time of bud.
So I opted for tying rest of them down XLST..[emoji482]

Hey it works right... [emoji481][emoji482]
I've been using chain link and regular 2x4 medium animal fence for scrog nets and what ever works to hold down a plant. I'll own it I'm cheap LoL [emoji1]

To shut down "wire bite" I might need to wire a piece of foam onto the chainlink depending on force exerted and branch diameter. I have a funny feeling that my 4X4's are not going to be nearly large enough, and i will end up using them as a place to be able to anchor wires in a more controlled fashion than i could before.

Yes you mite experience that.
I don't know you're up there quite a ways you might. I experienced a little bit of it last year on the sage and sour but it was just the little bitty tiny buds at the bottom.
didn't you say your net was at 30 in?
The net fence I used last year
