Outdoor Growtogrow.. Michigan Unlimited multi strain organic grow

I guess this is a good way to bring the canopy down.
Instead of raising the lights .
I love a good supercrop and ive always had good harvests after doing it to any girl as long as she healthy i think its a great thing to have in your box of tricks

Right supper cropping is known for increasing yield and possibly trichome production also.
Look she is already springing back. It's been 1 hour
There's so much studying going on right now. doctor Bruce Bugbee at Utah State University head of the plant science lab and founded by NASA for 30 something year's...they're doing tests 100's of tests on cannabis and hemp that's it just blows the mind. :eek1:

Closer to the outside grow. Some of these plants will be outside and some will flower in here.
I wanted to be flowering all inside girls by 420. Still will but not all the plant's are ready enough for me. And some haven't shown sex yet... So will be staggering the flowering time out to early July to finish all inside flowering.

Hey GTG Bro :pass: ! Awesome set up with the garden, i can see how you have the old soil ( i think anyway) up against the sleepers on the outside of the cage and your lovely organic soil within the grow cage. Crazy weather, but then its mid autumn and the occasional cold blast migth some years bring snow up to the Northern Tablelands.

Interesting about the study into Cannabis at Utah State Uni. The more research the more we;ll learn the wonders of this herb. John Hopkins even ran tests on magic mushrooms also. You dont give your girls mix sun lights, might be what ive done to my photos they seem a bit small, i gave them light and sun, i think it should have been all light then sun harden.

Hey there Smokey  :baked:

Check out Bruce Bugbee and his classes he teaches. On YouTube and Google. Apogee Instruments also.
Utah state University and Dr Bruce Bugbee have put together a series of videos. On light and plant biology geared towards cannabis almost solely. Utah State University is one of the only universities in the United States and has a license to study cannabis and hemp. You can't go wrong....with hours and hours of watching and learning it's amazing. It's kind of came to a halt right now as far as their videos go and stuff because of the virus pandemic thing..:sadcry:
But there's plenty to watch.. :headbang:
it'll take up a whole week of watching if you watch them everyday...all day LOL

The soil in my yard is really good soil. It has grown a few good vegetable garden's. But it's got a little to much clay in it.
So the sleeping soil as you called it. Will be mixed in with the compost and start it's way to becoming a great soil as well.
I'll add everything that I've put in my growing soil and plus some more. And use some next year in the grow.
I used a lot of natural yard soil in the 2nd Outside grow last summer. All the plant's in the small cage were in that soil. And came out very well.:hump::toke::cheers::pighug:

The girl's loved being outside yesterday. :cools::WTF:well this is Michigan's spring time and no weather man can call the weather here for more than a few hour's ahead
It was to be nice and warm for a few days and only 20% chance of rain the weather lady said:doh: 420 morning.

I was ready though just in case.

Sure thing. Just after dark I look at my weather app...just because I've lived here most of my life and know they can't call it.
So I look at the screen and here's a cold front coming down out of Canada moving fast...with cold rain snow and lake affect snow ugh.:yoinks::finger:
The worst thing is... I'm looking at the sky and it's crystal clear beautiful night sky no wind.
But that front was like 25 miles to my West with thunderstorms gussting winds rain coming straight at me.:yoinks: :vibe::cuss:I had to drag everything inside quickly and batten down my tarp from being beat up from the high winds.:jawdrop: I wasn't ready for no serious storms yet and these winds were gusting upwards of 50 to 60 miles an hour.:yoinks::superhero:
I Got everything in and dodged a bullet by about 15 minutes before hit me.
I surveyed this morning all seems to be well

Hi @Growtogrow I am in the top pinky area of the mit. It is snowing right now again. Looking like some nice growin goin on here. I use the same type of indoor lights they work well but be carefull of the nylon adjusting line resting on the light heat shield it is risky I do not want anything bad to happen to a grow Bro or Gal.

Hey @greenhornet :welcome::cheers: good to meet you.
I know Michigan kind of sucks on the weather tip sometimes. It's snowing here off and on today as well temperatures 36° probably going to be the high. And it's windy as hell all lake effect snow coming in from a broke up Canadian clipper blowing throu.:snow2::windy:

Thanks for the heads up :toke::pass: I know those nylon ratchet straps can go bad that's for sure.
I got tons of them. I bought some pretty good quality ones back in the day and they've lasted me for years. but the cheaper ones I haven't had any break yet but I've had the ratchet gears wear out on one of them. I try not to use those things. But I try to fix my lights in a position so I don't have to move them up and down to much. :shrug:Because I have a height challenge tight grow spaces.
I can't even stand up in my grow room the lights are at my shoulder height. The room is ceiling is 6'4"
I think it was 6' 5" . but after I put the one in foam on the floor. Well not much room for my lights right now. There running at 38". So when I pull the canopy down I'm running my canopy around 28" thereabouts it's probably around closer to 30" now. Because of the light mover I'm able to have the lights very close cuz they don't stay in one spot and burn the plant. So I can have light array a few inches above the canopy and because it's moving all the time it never gets a hotspot. Stays really cool in the grow space with 3 315 40k cmh light's on all the time and a 4th 10k that's on and off every 2 hours.:toke:
I love the light mover.
Thanks for stopping by stop by any time:cheers::pass:

Mighty fine set-up absolutely adorable. The outdoor gig very nice also. I think Mother Nature is behind the calender up here (a couple weeks), the morrels haven't had a chance to pop = too cold. My main concern about the straps is the heat that the shield collects could smoke anything resting on the top like the exta portion of the nylon I run mine straight up just like tequila cheers :toke:

Thanks a lot man:bighug:
I'll be adding far red LEDs to the array in a few days. 700nm to 750nm should be here by the 1st
No no morel yet wow really you know you're right they're probably a little bit behind then.

Yeah the heat coming off and my lights. Well I can put my hand on top of the wings. I just did it cuz I thought maybe you might be right... but nope I put my hand right on top of the wing

Where the lights at on top of that wing and it's just warm they don't throw out very much heat. Yeah I don't even have air conditioning in my room and my room is running 73 right now at plant top and 71 at the celling. No aircon just a 460cfm sucker fan that runs 20 minuts every 2 hours.:bighug:
