You should be getting plenty of rain this weekend from weather forecast. I usually only grow a few photo plants each year as I usually grow autos, but didn't bother planting any photos this year but I did have a single plant come up outside early this Spring from seeds dropped on the ground last year.
This one plant sprouted toward the end of March when we had a warm spell. I have no clue what it is. Stands about 6 feet tall after bending branches down the entire Summer. It is packed with buds already. Earliest I have had a photo plant pack on buds. I'm thinking it came about from a hybrid of a photo plant with an autoflower as I did some seed runs last year on autoflower plants but I also grew some large auto strains last year.
It has been so hot and humid and a few weeks ago I had some inch worm looking bugs on some buds. I have had to cut two large buds off due to budrot in the last week. This plant has been growing for five months outside with very little care other than bending branches months ago and defoliating last week.
This year I just tried flipping some female autos to get pollen. I pollinated some bottom branches on this plant with pollen from a female auto I flipped to male. Plan on harvesting any seeds I get and then doing an ice water hash run as I really don't need any flower to smoke as I probably still have two pounds vacuum sealed and frozen per your advice last year.
This plant is getting really sticky with resin and the buds are turning frosty now. I'm hoping to not run into any additional budrot on this plant. Will spraying with potassium bicarbonate prevent budrot???
