Outdoor Growtogrow.. Michigan Unlimited multi strain organic grow

Good luck this season. One of my outdoor in ground plants last year had roots so deep it was getting its own water hope your as lucky.
The critters manly deer may be an issue and sorry I don't have any good ideas on ways to deter them until hunting season. :shooty:

Thanks GH :toke::cheers:
Yeah those deer can be the worst for our little green plants. Yum! :pie:
I and a friend are going up this weekend to cut posts and lay out and dig fencepost holes for a 100' x 50' canna garden, complete with chickens n chicken coop when it's done.
I hope we get some rain soon. The southern states seem to be getting all the rain... And to much at that.:pass:

I forgot about damn deer. I haven't had to deal with the fuggers for 5 years. No outdoor garden at new place.
At my old farm, I had to put an electric fence around my garden. My Rotty helped later.
It's been a couple of years since I've seen a track, about the same the neighbor got a big Rotty! :funny: :funny:
I have yet to actually see one on my place, only tracks.
I don't think I have to worry about deer. I hope armadillos don't attack my girls trying to get worms.

Rabbit's and mice's. Are the worst. I put chicken wire around the plant's to stop the rabbits. But the mice are not as likely to eat a plant. So I take my chances there.
We have to have a fence around our cannabis crops here in Michigan as part of being legal here anyway. With my med lic.
The 12 recreational plant's are under the same rule's.
"Can't be seen from the road and have to be fenced when they're grown outside".

At the farm, my cats kept the mice population way down and I did see them taking several baby cottontails and I watched three tackle an adult cottontail.
The two silly ass outside cats I have now are probably pretty much useless.

Good luck GTG !!! That sucks about the weather there Brother, so drought can stike your area as well. I do hope the rain situation changes, Amazing all the water that was hauled up to Northern Land, cant wait to see which girls get to go up there. All looking healthy and happy plants :d5: :pass:

I hear ya on the rain... I have well water but the pump is on its own electric and that cost to run.. The water bill is already spiking from running the sprinklers every day so far. Tie a white plastic bag around where your plants are to chase the deer off. The sound of the bag and they can see white it spooks them off. I had to do it to my fruit trees to keep them from eating them this fall it looks like garbage but its effective for scaring them away...

I did a lot of hole digging at the farm I work at.
I dug 19 of 22 holes 5 feet across about 18 to 20 inches deep. Took me 11 hour's over 2 day's. Then backfilled the holes with re-generated Pro mix. And then Added 1 bag of composted cow manure and 1 bag cow manure with compost, urea, humic acid, blood meal, fish bone meal, bone meal, kelp meal, gypsum, Epsom salts, Dolomite lime, biochar, worm castings. On the day of planting we'll also add another bag of compost and manure an additional amount of worm castings and mother earth grow
