Hey fade n Smokey how y'all doing
Yeah...not to much I can do outside until 420. And at that I will have to have the clear tarping up to protect the crop from frost. Also I'll be running t5 lights to extend my daylight hour's to 18 hour's a day until the end of May. Maybe longer if the weather is like last year. But will be flipping by 6/15 to harvest by 8/15
All the little girls you see in that room..some of those are for a crop that I'm going to grow inside between now and probably end of June. I figure I'll be harvesting that one then. And some of these babies rae for the summer outside grow.
But I'm moving a little slower than I care too.
" it is what it is " right
I still got a lot of stock left over from last Summer's Harvest. I really haven't had a need to grow you know what I mean.
Still doing real good got a quarter of a small deep freezer full still.
I'm setting up to run 4 mother plants and knock that down later on when I start graftingthat way there I can still keep my 4 or 5 main strains around that everybody really likes and then I can play with other strain and still be with inside of our 24 plant quota that we're allowed on our lic's
I use the Black Cow every year.
I've found bugs in a lot of commercial soils that said that they had been sterilized.
But bugs are just a fact of outside farming. And indoor too when you're an organic farmer.
But with a IPM system it's all manageable.
So I intend to be in the outside garden around 4:20 weather permitting but the plants are growing now and they'll be getting acclimated to the outside very soon as I'll be putting them on the back covered porch under a t5 light to get them use to the temperature in 3 gallon plastic pots.
I usually use Fiber pots. But this year I'm going straight in the ground nothing around them but a ring to hold the water from just rolling all over the ground. I have a little bit of work to do out in my garden outside cuz I want to change it up a little bit for security reasons and so here in the next week or two we're going to start moving posts around and fencing and getting things a little easier for me to secure it with my new electric fence. Everything takes time though you know Bros. And I just haven't been real motivated and besides that the frost just got out of the ground here the other day so I can actually dig a hole now. Not that any of these posts will be permanent everything I put up is temporary and can come down really easy. That way there if any code violator people come by I can knock it down in a heartbeat and they can't say crap to me and it didn't cost me a lot you know...
