Outdoor Growtogrow.. Michigan Unlimited multi strain organic grow

To those that know me and know my growing style and how I dabble with light and light deprivation to were the sun's at in the sky at any given time of the year or growing season.
So it should come to no surprise to you that I would be studying light.

I've been studying Deep Red or far red light in the ( 630 nm to 800 nm ) and also deep far deep blue below 400 nm technology in the photosynthesis of the Cannabis and hemp plant at Utah State University.
Long story short. I'm working on light recipes to grow my plants better inside and to help know what plants will benefit from shading or non shading in the outside grow.
I've come to find out the deep red past the normal PAR Spectrum... in the ( 630 to 800 nm ) spectrum produces more yield, heavier foliage and stem elongation.
The technology still being developed but these aren't theories these are known tests with confirmed results from Cannabis, lettuce, tomatoes, and other crops for food and for medical.
The information or classes are relevant as it is only 6 months old and being tout at Utah State University.
Utah state University is one of the few universities in the country that has a license to study cannabis hemp and marijuana. They're studying all crops but they're focusing on cannabis too for the first time. This is becoming a real benefit to my mindset as I've learned so much in just the last six months of studying with Professor Dr. Bruce Bugbee.:stir: he wrote a paper in 1989 it changed thoughts about light and has been funded by NASA for the last 33 year's...so the guy really knows his shit. He's no wack he's definitely on top of everything he has many grads and undergrads doing tests up on tests.
Well if you're into it anyways it's phenomenal to listen and read about these technological breakthroughs in light.:growing:

My favorite thread to watch brother. Thats cool you studying light, i studying microbes. I be here following along buddy. Its gonna be great season.
Hey fade thanks for stopping by man it's good to see you :bighug:
Yes yes microbiology is key to growing cannabis as you and I know. But it's not all about the microbes.
So when you have the right light at the right time and the right microbes or food or
( energy in = energy out ) once you have all those tuned water intake, food intake, light, CO2, you can have a finely-tuned plant kind of like a racehorse or NASCAR. Once you have it tuned it's optimal for success.:coffee:

I've been a bad farmer.:nonono:
I let these girls have a little bit too little light. They got a little long on me I was preoccupied with doing this that and the other thing while they sat in the window underneath the small light.
I got them underneath the good light now and close to it. Should stop stretching now. Stretching as you can see the one she broke on me... I was trying to prop it up and bent her good:dang:but she's coming back so all is good I guess:whew:
If she makes it she's already super cropped :hippy:

Thanks Smokey :bighug::dizzy:it's good to see you gro bro.
How's things down under?
Did stay away from the fires?
Hey GTG :pighug:Its good to be back gro bro. A rocky start to 2020, but should be a goodyear to grow

Thanks are good down here, the horrible drought is over and it was been mostly wet, which i will no complain about, better than the drought. I am slowly planting another section of rainforest at home, will also help the girls from being spotted by the neighbour. Currently have 2 "bush weed" plants ( seed from street bud bought at Nimbin), they appear to be sativa plants, with mysterious origins. I think the Hippies bought the seed from Thailand and Laos but who knows, what i read online.

Its very sad and i am not happy with the governemt who had cut funding to the fire service and it was sad also some Americans helping us with the fires lost their lives when the plane went down. We lost rainforest (some). My area was lucky, only fires was Lamington National Park and the damage was only minor. I hope we dont see the same thing ever again.

The rain has been okay for you there? last year it was very wet there

Glad to hear you made it through pretty good there smokey. :whew:
So you're going to grow through the winter time then down there? Your temperatures where you're at don't get all that cold really do they?
