I want to start to do some proper indoor growing and am very interested in LED lights, I am not too keen on the usual chinese blackstar240 and worse types and didnt want to buy from the USA if possible . OGV:confused:

I purchased the MS-0006 about 10 months ago, have completed 2 grows and am near the end of a Femenised Regular, Four plants per grow, all in 10 Ltr Air pots, in a stealth cabinet, 2.5 ft wide, 1.5 ft deep. All normal multi purpous compost. Results were exellent! Seedbanks advice on my first grow, pineapple punch auto was 27g per plant, i got 40g per plant. Next was Afghan Kush Ryder Auto, 60g per plant.
Next grow is still ongoing, Regualr feminised, 2 Tangerine Dreams, 1 Berry Bomb, 1 Big Bang. all over 3 feet high. Vegged for 4 weeks, 12 inches, been flowering so far for 9. all looking really nice and big. No pics cos i aint like that lol.
These lights have attracted a lot of attention from my old school growers and they are now definately starting to change over to LED, the wattage has got to be more to compare to conventional lighting but that will change when newer magnifying optical lenses are released, Grow northern are releasing these soon.
I did a lot of research on LED's and a lot of telephone calling especially to uk based suppliers.
Then i telephoned GrowNorthern, I spoke to Dan who is a absolute electronics and botanical GENIUS.
He answered everything and beyond, not one sales pitch just pure information. Absolute pleasure to talk to and always ready to help, plus their website has a live chat feature which works really well.
Customer Support is superb as well, i did have one LED module cluster (45 Watt) blow and Dan sent me one the same day i emailed him (that day it blew). It was with me and fitted the next day.
Fitting of the modules is very easy, you can get the instructions on the internet. Plus all the other modules carried on working, so my plants just thought it was a cloudy couple of days, lol. Heat is mainly generated from the exhaust not the lights themselves so no more scorching, but if you get them closer then 2 inches they can bleach your buds white, makes for a interesting smoke tho lol.:toke:
I and many of my pro gro bro's are really impressed with the product and the after care service they offer, im with them all the way.
Any doubts, what does one phone call take? Telephone them. Im not selling to you either im just telling it how it is.
Peace.

Yeah dude. Any 5v power supply would do the trick. Neat idea though.

GN MS-0006 LED Grow

Hey all, just thought id post a pic of one of my girls, Big Bang, shes 11 weeks old at the moment under the GN-Ms-0006 (sharing it with my tangerine dream). Other two grows have now gone to old smokee in the sky. Anyhoo chopped the top off her as it was looking very trichy milky and i like taking my smoke at different stages of flowering for various effects, variety is the spice of life eh? plus its gonna help the other buds fatten up for their chop chop day. Just like women, taking ages to get ready...Joke! but all you female members know im right,, lol.
Anyhoo more pics to come peeps, happy LEDing.

GN-Ms0006 LED Grow

One more for y'all, Guess which one is leaning towards being more 'Sativa'? Tangerine Dream triples in height apparantely, lol, sort of misjudged my placing of different strains in the same area. Oh well. Live and learn. Shes got ages on her yet anyway, the BB has only a couple of weeks tops for a couchlocker smoke so the Tangy will have that light all to herself, One things strange tho, the pic is well pinky purple! lol it doesnt look that bright in real life...or does it? lol, Glad i got thermal block out curtains or my room would look like the red district in the 'Dam' Jeeees. Will be doing another Auto grow soon, so will post pics in due course.
Anyway, clocking out. Catch you all later with more updates...Peace Out.

GN-Ms0006 Grow updated, Red Modules Added

Heres a question for y'all, How long does Big Bang Regular take to finish for a LED grow, is it a slow trichome developer? as im getting cloudy but really slowly..the colas are looking ripe but the trichomes are still not all cloudy yet, Temps are good, im not feeding her, ive even changed the two centre modules of my lights to just pure Reds, (thanks to Dan @ GrowNorthern for sending me them free of charge)
Any advice peeps?

Have attached a pic of one of my Big Bang Buds bathing in the Redder Light, Red Bud. lol as you can imagine bloody hard to examine the trichomes lol

Plus a good shot showing both plants and underside of lights with the two red modules fitted.
