And here they are in the 3 gallon pots and soaking up the light! Light is at 40%.
Outstanding Les!
What area does that light cover? I didnt see this lights details on the site yet. Look forward to your impressions.
Very snazy,I wanted to mention the ratchets I'm using. They are made by iPower. They use steel cables instead of rope. Those ropes deteriorate, I've had 2 fail. These are very strong and the ratchet feels sturdy. The are not as easy to use as the rope type, but not by much. With a heavy light your not going to haul it up by the cable. You need to lift one end and tighten the cables then do the other end. Same for lowering the light. Safer that way too, you DON'T want that cable slipping through your hand!
And though not cheap, they are well worth the money to protect your valuable light!

I'm posting a link to them. This is strictly my recommendation, not HLG's.

Very snazy,
Wish I had of seen them ones, lol
I opted for a 4 pack of budget rope ratchets.
Because I bought a cheap 5x5 tent that has plastic corner connectors I thought it would be a better idea to distribute the weight on 4 ratchets rather than the 2 I got along with the light.
Otherwise the weight would all be in the centre area,
New room, gear, strains and excitement! I can sense it in your writing...
