Indoor Growing Autos in SIPs with living soil~~> Bloody Skunk, Red Poison, Zkittles, GDP, and Blue Dream

Resday! i gave them each 1 gallon of rainwater, ph didn't check, ppm who knows (kidding 8-13) i'm copying a youtuber named Jeb, love the guy. https://www.youtube.com/c/JebGardener in case you want to watch his great videos

They are looking great for day 18 minus the tiny blue dream but ive seen runts take off and become the biggest in flower so we shall see.

i added plasic wrap to each of the pipes to keep fucking gnats from breeding in there, i have mosquito bits to kill the fuckers if i have to but i'm hoping they will die off on their own or at least have a very limited number of them (like my last grows) buti would rather have zero of them if i can so i might add bti to the water later, thoughts? for now i have pleny of yellow sticky traps to keep them busy :smoking:
Not sure size of that pipe but see if u can put a shot glass into the end to seal it up! Also maybe get a mosquito dunk and break it into few pieces and drop down reservoir fill tube so they can’t breed down in that water!

i have mosquito bits i think its the same thing as mosquito dunks just not a donut shape its little bacon bits version of the stuff, i'll use it if the fuckers breed, i have plastic for now covering the pipes i will use cloth and rubberbands soon when i get rubberbands as i have none right now.

a shot glass fits the citypickers pipe just fine but i only have 1 and its my measuring shot glass haha, the diy pipes are 1-1/2 pvc pipe,

Check the reservoir to see if they're still water in there. If there is, then pop the top and look at the top of the media to see how moist it is.
It should have done all the soaking that it's going to do by now.
If you don't have any water in the rest go ahead and add another gallon and then check the surface a few hours later. It will just give you a idea of how well your media wicks water.
Thank you! i just woke up and the misses is still sleeping in the grow room i mean bedroom haha i'll check it when she gets up.

I doubt if you'll have any problems with gnats if you let the rez go dry.

For sure i look forward to trying that. only dry for 1 day right?

Once I saw the rez dry, I watered the next day.
I've been adding EM1 along with my humic acid. That part of the program I'm using................the humic part. EM1 is my part. You could use EM1 in one watering a week. It will ensure the rez is maintained in proper fashion. It's very economical when you 'activate' it. All that is is EM1, molasses and distilled water combimed and left to ferment or bloom. I got a simple one gallon glass jug and bubble sealer r(ubber stopper set up) from a brewer supply place shipped for less than $20. Only takes a few days and once the pH reaches 3.5, it's finished and ready to use.
Something to think about, but totally not required.

I just checked the res and all 4 sips still have water in them but i did fill them up around 10am today (9pm now) so maybe its to early to be sucked up?

Link me the em1 you use and I'll try your method out, when i searched for em1 a few weeks ago i was blown away by the price so maybe i was looking at gallon sizes or something

:crying: you understand then haha getting a portable ac unit made all the difference in comfort and the plants environment keep a steady temp now which is stress free for me now, before if the door was closed to the lung room during lights on oh no 93F in the tent, now it never goes over 80F. i get free water from the ac unit too which is cool if we go 2 months without rain i can at least get a few gallons from our air :smoking:

One pint at $29 will make over 2 gallons of a solution that you apply at one ounce of activated EM1 to the gallon of water. That makes it very cost-effective.
I'm gonna ask their canna expert for a sponsorship of their products.
If you haven't done it yet, their website is very informative on the history of EM1 and its uses.
