Seed Bank Growers choice seeds. Opperating out of California.

If that's the case then we should have a place for the bad ones.

Shame lists will make you more enemies than kicking over a Harley at a biker bar. I've never seen one successfully put together for cannabis. As to removing the vendors, our process as of recent is just to move the threads to appropriate forums. We just about NEVER delete content; it's just moved (so it's still searchable, still index by Google, etc, we just remove the companies forum/advertising.) So the journaling/documentation is still valid, even if vendors don't stay on.

I would LOVE to bring Zambeza on the site so we can help provide better feedback. Regardless of whether vendors are on AFN or not, consumers will buy these seeds, they will buy grow lights, etc, based on just ridiculous criteria. I'd rather people get the first hand experience here (which we try to do at zero cost to the growers.)
--- Vendor reports I believe are very important , whether they breed there own seeds or not . The feed back helps making a choice to use them or not use them . with any company there can be problems , but it is how they deal with them that counts , This is where feed back comes in . I tend to like Vendor breeder over reseller . one thread I have been on there was problems with flowering time [ not me ] I thought there response was great which made me even more happy to use them . Which I have done a number of times , before the problem came up . -- Don;t underestimate the influence and power of AFN growers . The buggers will soon let a company know if there are any issues , and there will be a whole heap of us watching .

If that's the case then we should have a place for the bad ones. How is someone to know if we found a seed company to be bad if we just remove them kinda counter productive? I get what both are saying and both have points But I do agree that they are testers and testers may come with pitfalls .We want to expose the good and the bad. Wairas like a protective parent saying no dont touch that ! while son of hobs will let you get burnt to learn a lesson lol Both are good ! They both come from a caring place so its all good. Just got to watch them close and give some heads up before they run test anything.
:crying: That, is the priceless Doobie perspective! :thanks:

Their ease of payment and shipping does offer a distinct advantage for folks in the US. I think this is why so many US based growers have their seeds. It was by far the easiest and quickest transaction, and I have ordered from a few breeders afterwards. If they approach this the right way, take the feedback, and improve the stability of their genetics, they can be an important resource, up until international payment options and shipping catches up.
If you want an easy payment from the US check out Greybeard seeds. In Colorado they are seed bank with many major breeders and also have a ton of theirs. All major credit cards $5 flat shipping. Fast too, they sent me bubba kush cbd photo instead of bubba kush thc auto replaced no questions. Only place I order from besides Mephisto now. So no need to buy bad genetics for easy transactions. You can use pre paid cards as well so no worries of your card getting taken. A+++!

Thanks McDee. I am noting that for future reference. Didn't know such a bank was stateside.

Robin Curtiss (the owner of Greybeard) told me himself he repackages and relabels genetics under his own label (including big name breeders.) When he tried forcing their advertising in our groups, he and his buddies tried to publicly troll us. We had a member on here that told us his full credit card payment information (including 3 digit CVV) was sent in an e-mail. I have zero problem telling growers to stay far, far, far, far away from that company.

Is it wise to post the actual name of someone involved in illegal activities on a Google searchable forum ?

But then again I don't know if his name is common knowledge or not...

Just curious :pass:
