My critical purple .No issues with sickness healthy plants but i grew 2 critical purple 2 candy kush n 2 gorilla glue n not a 1 looked tasted or grew anything like their sister plant. Genetics are questionable at best id say all autoflowered but some took around 120 days to finish twice as long as guide said. 20 on 4 off light scedule. I just had 1 out of 3 sour kush not germinate which is less than 90 % germination n asked for a replacement and was told that it had to b at least 2 beans to not germinate for a replacement and i followed their guide to a T. So im still on the so so with them i know shit happens but dont throw around words like 90% guarentee if u dont want to honor ur word . Ill probably still give them a chance every once n a while all the bud has been very good n im getting an ok yeild through them around 1n a half to 2 ounces a plant in a micro grow set up. I did however get some mephisto genetics to run side bye side with my gcs to see for myself a comparison View attachment 974783 View attachment 974784 View attachment 974785

Appreciate the feedback Jc!

Yeah I’m STILL trying to get my Gorilla Glue to flower. She popped on 9/15. I called GC customer service 2 weeks ago and asked if I should switch to 12/12. The lady told me there was still “plenty of time” but I could switch the lights if I wanted to “be that aggressive “. I’d just like them to flower this year and maybe (maybe) harvest in January. This is my first time growing, so it’s kind of frustrating. I went with an autoflower due to the speed and to minimize complications on my first grow.

Not the first time I wished I’d lurked a bit longer on AFN before pulling any triggers. Probably not the last.

I’d picked up a packet of Critical Purple early on to run after the GG. They tout a 27% THC level on that strain so of course I was all over that. If you believe their numbers.

My next grow I’ll be utilizing a different breeder. Really grateful I found AFN and all the knowledgeable people here.

I grew their Critical purple over the summer. It was about 14wks flowering with a great turnout. But looooong. Got two Tangerine Dream and a super Silver Haze this round, looking forward to seeing how they turn out..

Also @Pigskinfantasy grew their GG over the summer and had to force the GG to flower with a couple weeks of 12/12 if I recall...

Yup, Davis Girl knows all about my 130 day photo auto gorilla Glue. Had to switch to 12/12 at day 60. It took forever, but after all that, gave me almost five ounces of some of the best smoke I have had. I can't really complain, but yeah, I wished it autoflowered at day 40 and could harvest at day 75 like they said. Now, as I reach into my full jars, I am happy.

:smoking:... and this is one of my points about their breeding, if they are doing any,... a disproportionate number of plants are not performing like they should,... IMO, if an auto doesn't finish in under 10 weeks give or take, you might as well have grown a photo' and saved the $ on burning lights all those extra hours for no real benefit over yields or quality.....
If you do get wonky plant, be sure to let GCN know, don't let it slide,... let them know you're on a forum journaling their gear, be fair and respectful about discussing the problem, but stand you consumer's ground too,... fair-enough public demonstration of faulty genetics gets their attention, and others-- believe me!

Good idea, Waira! Frankly, I am a little surprised they aren't actively participating on AFN like most of the other breeders are. A lot of folks are growing their seeds, and if they really wanted to get better and more consistent genetics, they would proactively interact with us. This alone is worrisome.

...Cheers mate!... They are fairly new showing up here that I've seen,.. and given what we've seen, unlikely to be taken on as vendors to be honest... There is a lengthy list of other breeders we'd love to have join up!

they seem to be hit or miss .Most of their reviews must be from photo strains as thats what the majority grow. We are probably the first group to have an onion of their seeds. They should welcome feedback and the ability to fix problems found in the field. Some of the list looks good and ability to pay with a Walmart card priceless lol Wonder if any other banks do this. This is the first I herd of it.

First day I moved them into shed from rain....Jan 18’ all outdoor prior (SF Bay)....NL’s...tang dream...Blueberry...critical purp
