I have a 8x4 and a 4x4 grow tent. I use the 4x4 for drying and 8x4 for growing. I plan to set up a lung tent to control both tents on the same equipment. But which tent should I put my humidifier, dehumidifier, air conditioner and heater for controlling temp and humidity? I'll be using a ac infinity 6 inch fan with controller to move temps and humidity from one tent to the other. I'm aiming for 60 rh in both tents between 60 and 68 degrees Fahrenheit while I'm drying. I'm wondering how I should set this up right. I'm thinking using the 8x4 for my equipment and growing and only use the fan then when buds are drying in the other tent. But that will take up grow room in my tent that I grow in. And if I put my equipment in the 4x4 I worry about drying buds having a humidifier blasting them or heater messing things up. Any thoughts or suggestions on the best approach and why? And also I've never used a fan in my dry area but want to add a small fan for air circulation. I know not to have it pointed directly on the buds but where do I put it on the tent then so not to much air on buds? In corner facing the wall or facing the whole tent for more air flow? Thanks

And also what kind of temperature controller do you recommend to plug a heater and AC in? I read some bad stuff about the 35 dollar ink bird controllers. Anyone have any input? Thanks again

What is overall room like? Tents aren't insulated or sealed so in my experience it is better to control the entire room overall rather than just inside of the tents. If you can maintain around 75-80f and 50% rh for growing that works well. I run a 14x20 room with an open veg space, a 4x4 flowering, and a 5x5 flowering space at 78f and 55% humidity. I have had issues with botrytis over 65% popping up so lower RH works much better. Plus having anything more than fans in the tent takes to space, increases labor, and is just unnecessary if your exhaust is running 24/7 then it is constantly exchanging/bringing intake air from the main room. Better to condition your air before it gets inside the tents

Your drying space needs to be separate with a fan blowing indirectly at the buds, a corner or wall works and it doesn't need to be fast at all. My space is in a 6x6 closet that sits at 65f/50% rh with about a 10 day dry time. I use an oscillating fan on low.

Trolmaster is very reliable, tailored towards growing unlike inkbird, but is $$$. It would be around $400 to control those two appliance.

Basement 75 degrees Fahrenheit summer 60ish in winter

Cheaper to control smaller tent space than whole basement I was thinking

Then you throw a heater in on a controller during the winter to hit 75f and a whole room humidifier to push RH if it gets dry. It's honestly cheaper to control the whole room than several tents as the tents still sit in that room and are susceptible to went fluctuations that may occur in that basement.

I use the Pulse monitor from pulsegrow and its been great for me. You can monitor from anywhere in realtime and set alerts for parameters like humidity, temp, co2, etc. I also bought a wifi humidifier from amazon and can also turn on/of and control the speed of it from anywhere. I grow in a 4x4 and for my setup its fairly straight forward...I just turn the humidifier off (from work) right at lights out and turn it on when the lights come on. I can usually stay between 73-77F 50-55RH lights on and 66-68F 55-60%RH at night and I live in a very dry climate.

Just grab you a heater thats wifi or if not then use a wifi plug to control it remotely should you need to. Wouldn't technically be fully automated but you'd have complete control from just about anywhere...

It's a huge basement. Not possible with the equipment I have
