Indoor Grow one with FD

FD, have question about nutes. I am getting conflicting info. here is nute schedule I copied from one of your other threads.Week1 pH water only1.5- add in Big Bloom to the mix at 1/2 tea spoon 2- 1/2tsp Grow Big 1/2 tsp Big Bloom2.5- 3/4 tsp of grow big 3- 1tsp grow big and 1/2 Tiger bloom 1/2 tea spoon Big Bloom3.5- 1/2 tsp Grow Big 1/2tsp Tiger bloom4- 1tsp Tiger bloom 1/2 tsp Grow Big4.5- Clean pH'ed water to clear out salt build up5- 2tsp tiger bloom 1/2 grow big 5.5- 1 Teaspoon Grow Big6- Begin Flush for the final weeks. At this point i can flush for a week before i begin to see yellowing of the fans.I like to leave enough time to get all the salts out of there before the harvest. This stuff WILL salt up on you and cause build up and lock out. Hope this helps some of you out there and remember this may vary to your application. This is just MY feed schedule. Question, in post #48 you said first feeding use 1/4 tsp/gal water whereas in the nute schedule posted above it says 1/2 tsp/gal. Major difference and there is no mention of using liquid seaweed. Which do I use 1/4 or 1/2 grow big with seaweed or are they seperate? Also does the time schedule start after seeds come above ground or after germed seeds are planted? Trying to follow along but a little confused. First auto grow so want to get it right.

Tried to edit last post to make it easier to read, didn't take, but anyway hope you understand my confusion and can help me clarify.

Nelson, I had big trouble germing some auto's that a friend had given me. Think they were too fresh. They just never cracked at all. So basically I was kinda paranoid. Figured 8 hrs soak no biggie. At least no drownings! LOL. This is strictly indoor, small footprint, soil, stealth grow. So I'm trying to follow FD's lead as he seems to get consistent, quality high yields. Have nothing against hydro. But it does add to initial cost outlay. Also grow all my veggies in dirt so definitely more familiar. The closer I can stay to organic the better i like it. Planted germed seeds about 1/4". Not familliar with term "dampoff". Wassatt?Big

Well you are sure right about getting set up for hydro. I had to build a special room with drains and fresh water. Lights, Ventilation, blow fans, air pumps, light rack raising and lowering, the lights them selves, timers, tables, nuits and the instruments to neasure it all.

There are many ways to start your seeds. Hey you choose the one you want to do yourself. I was just telling you how I do it. In case it may be of some help to you.

Drop off is one of the big killers of infantile grass plants. Seems to be more prevelant in plants that have a lot of stretch before they get real leaves. I do believe stretch is a bacterial problem in the plant. The symptoms are that the middle of the stem, about half way between soil level and the first leaves, thins out. Very easy to see with the naked eye because it is very apparant. The top half of the plant keels over and the plant dies. There is know saving it once it does that. My first watering after the seed has broken out of the ground is to poor on some coffee/water mis. About 20/80 mix. The coffee is the 20%.

Good luck to you man may you have much success.

bigmanaz, there are a few different posts about what i have used in the past as well as what i use now. So i decided to use this thread to clarify. All in all when it comes to feeding you need to use 1/4 increments over the weeks. one week old = 1/4 tsp week 2 =1/2 and so on and so forth. The pattern of the nutes never changes. Now as far as the liquid kelp goes. No more than a cap full to a gallon at any time. You can use this as early as 5 fays old. Not to strong to induce males, but enough to get them metabolizing good.

I want to talk about this here as i want to get a few others opinion's on what is happening.........

I decided to top one of the little ones to see what would happen to them. I posted a few back that it had looked like it went back into the veg stage, and at this point things are still the same, they are working on the 3rd node of new growth and it is doing rather well. The lower shoots have hit their spurt as well, so the hormone shift to the lower branching worked like it was ment to. Now the thing is why is it that it went back to veg? Its honestly like the plant restarted its self from the beginning. If it would have stunted it in any way there would be flower formation at this point and there is no sign of preflower on her right now at all.

Past things telling me that she will show when the new growth hits the 4th node. If this happens then it is possible to send a stumpie back into veg and still get the size from them. So here is hoping that this works out. If it does i got the TM on this new found shit

So in thoery your saying that by topping an auto which you stunted somehow and you wouldnt get the normal growth you should have, that it re-verts back into veg ? sounds really nice in theory. Hey FD if you get the chance check out my sour60 thread. I had my male that i topped through nute burn bc of the soil being "hott" didnt show signs of sex until i think 30 or more days I would say that it did stretch considerably and gives you way more growth then if you had a 4inch stump. So your theory in my experience already worked out lol harvested about 4 mL of pollen of his ass.

Copied and pasted, should show up as posted. As you can see , week 1-1/2tsp grow big,, week 2-1/2 tsp grow big, and 1/2 tsp big bloom. Virtually doubling the nutes. I am not trying to find fault with your instructions but I am still confused. Understand the seaweed fertilizer part now but still unclear as to what to do. Sorry to be such a PIA. My seeds are coming up sporadically, 1, the night of the 13th and 1 more trying to poke up right now. Don't know what is going on. Never had this disparity on seeds that were all germed at same time. Expected 3 with tails to sprout pretty close to each other and the 2 that were just cracked, shortly there after. I'll just have to be patient and apply nutes to each plant according to sprout time. First to sprout has first set of serrated leaves and will water it with seaweed mix in a couple days then start nute schedule you prescribe. ty for help. Still paranoid cuz first auto grow and never paid for seeds before. LOL

Well looks like cut and paste didn't work either. In your original post, showed up like table. Tried everything I can think of to duplicate but no luck.
