Any news?

The warping won't effect the optical performance its the ABS white housing that is slightly warped from flat on the B side not the Polycarbonate holographic diffuser. The ABS housing is a really low cost part of the build; when we modify a low cost part like this we will likely produce extras like we have done with the lids so if anyone wants the replacement part we can provide it. However this would not include the holographic diffuser, magnets or gasket on the part just the ABS white housing.

Quick question..I've just taken delivery of a new hs1 and the light emitted appears more white than pinkish in tangs photos above..I've the diffuser on..also struggling a little with the position of the light and the sweet spot as the light is slightly offset.

This is a pretty quiet corner of AFN, it might take a little while until the experts notice your post.

I like your question, how can we check that our HS1 is performing 100%, no damage in transit.
Are all the LEDS lighting up on your HS1?

All lights will have the same spectrum bro it's just the camera that will change the colour. To hang the light just use the centre of the module as you reference rather the centre of the light.

Would checking the wattage used tell you? I'm sure if it's using about 75w (room temp can affect usage slightly I believe) its firing of all cylinders.

Panic over...took a picture and the spectrum is exactly as tangs..now gotta figure out whether to keep the ms006 or sell it..shame as I have no space for two of them unless one goes vertically..

I would use both use angle both of them if that does not work keep the older model for back up. Those Ms006 is a wicked light still.

the MS006 has been utterly brilliant for me.. I was a long time believer in HPS but growing in summer was never easy in my grow cabinet, this came along and changed everything ...the HS1 has a lot to live up to but so far so good...

Sorry I missed this one. In regards to the output spectrum of the HS1, it hasn't changed since launch. We are very happy with its performance in the current light engine configuration. Regardless of what your eye or a camera sees this is the irradiance vs wavelength data of every unit we have produced so far:
