As the video shows, what goes in doesn't matter so much using pH perfect. it's coming out at 6.5 like it or not. I like it and just switched nutes to Advanced to take advantage of the tech they're pushing. 6.5 is a great place for a soil grow. I notice it's the hydro guys who really like the low numbers. Most journals here that show deficiencies are deficiencies of Cal/Mag. Doesn't always mean its not in the pot. To be absorbed by the plant, pH and temp ranges must be observed. I've got a great chart that came with my FoxFarms trio pack feeding schedule that lists ranges for most of the nutrients. 6.5, in soil, is a nice balance for just about all of them.
FWITW, wet and humid only serve a purpose in early veg. It's a dry plant when mature and typically doesn't like wet feet. The best journals here are Tang's. He never waters to runoff, and splashes them twice a day in flower. Check out the Greenhouse Seeds videos. I don't care if you love or hate those guys, when they dry em out halfway through the grow, they pickup those huge pots and dude, they are light.
I'm actually feeling pretty good about the switch to Advanced if you can't even move it with pH up or down. Slow and steady wins the race, my friend.
