New Grower Grow Journal, Flowering Problem, HELP

Hey Peter ! I wouldn't smoke in the same room as my plants as smoke would affect oxygen levels , especially in smaller spaces ....now I'm also assuming you mean plants are in room with you not in a tent or grow cabinet with separate environment .! That's my 2 cents ! Peace bro :jointman:one love

Hello Afn
Question again
Is it normal to water my coco with ph 5.8 and have a run off of 6.5 Can this be due to buffering ability of coco or Ive done something wrong Again :redcard: ?
Thanks in advance friends

That would put your pH at around 7.2. You may want to try going in pH 5.3 or 5.4 to get that run off down a bit. Next time go 5.7, then 5.6, then 5.5, then 5.4, then 5.3 if needed i the next bunch of waterings and see if that gets you down into range.

Yes Bro the room is quite big and airy with fresh air coming but `I needed to ask trying to find out what is going on.

Again Afn Help
Please anyone tell me should my run off be more or less the ph I water or it does not matter? I keep watering my only coco with 5.3 and get run off 6.5-6.7 WHAT THE F... AGAIN :dragon6:Is it because of the ph perfect formula of Advanced nutrients which keep ph at 6.5. is it possible to not be able to lower my soil ph? :crying: Guys and Ladies your advice most welcome :peace:

i have no experience with ph perfect so cannot really comment. All i know is i suffered fro ma similar issue early in my grow and it took relentless flushing of pH adjusted water to get it under control. For me, it was vermiculite that was very alkaline and not properly flushed.

Have you flushed (like 1 gallon water per gallon pot) your plant at all to get rid of any salt/nute build up? I think that can also affect the pH but i'm no expert and someone with experience with this type of grow may be able to help. Perhaps post this up in Infirmary?

There is a youtube video from advanced nutrients mixing pH perfect nutes into 3 water reservoirs, acidic, neutral, and basic. pH meters jump to 6.5ish in each one and I must say they do it quickly.. Hope that helps. Is 6.5 so bad? It does allow a freer absorption of cal/mag than lower pH s.

Thanks bro for your time
Well in this case what Iam I suppose to feed my coco girl does ph down work or the ph perfect formula will prevail, in the soil that is why I cant have runoff exactly with what Iam feeding.? :jointman:
