Harvest & Curing Grove Bags Test Thread

Ok are we just supposed to like document progression on here? I took my battle plant solo cup zkittles (well what is left) and put top cola in jar with boveda and other 8 or 9 g in the 1/2oz bag (only got 1/2 and 1oz + the 1/4lb-1lb sizes but my harvests ain’t that big yet) so sealing up what I have cured and ready!

Comparing against this

Believe I have enough in other smoke that I can save this for the long haul of full 6mos! For my own knowledge gonna check bag weekly at least but I’ll toss up update at least once a month to show status of smoke in bag and current humidity in bag! Figured was worth a mini to have a current reading at all times for our (or my own at least) benefit of knowing what’s going on inside! Got the foodsaver out and about to heat seal it shut! Not vacuum seal but just heat sealing it! Thanks again @Grove Bags for this opportunity and if something sounds wrong here let me know please!

U could’ve used the package I got lol. 1 oz 1/4 oz and 1/8oz.

These bags no problem filling up!
But these.....

I have to wait for my next harvest but got antsy and bought 25 of the window 1 oz. bags because I know I am going to like them.

They are def quality and only took a couple seconds to heat seal it shut!

Ok I don’t know where others are doing the updates for these! Here or their own 6 post thread?!? I’ll update mine here and move later if necessary! For the main top of zkittles I tossed into a jar with a boveda and A hygrometer still show 62% but prob will need to change boveda soon! Feel it getting a tad dry in the corners!

Now for the @Grove Bags I put like 13g into the bag at like 57% or so and tossed in hygrometer and heat sealed it up! So far so good! You can see what rh its staying at inside so therefore can be confident product inside is at perfect rh!

Kinda hard with flash to see but also still nice and frosty inside the bag! I can see where some may want lil lower rh for smoking in the end but def holds at good rh to keep for LONG TERM STORAGE but that’s what they are designed for so mission accomplished I’d say!
So far so good and will be back later with progress etc on my lil test run here!

What is the best way to seal the bags? I have a vacuum sealer but I moved recently and have not come across it. I need to get a small hygrometer so that I can run a test. Sorry for not posting yet.

I used a clothes iron and it worked. but I bought a regular sealer on ebay. I think If I am careful I can seal a package twice.
