Harvest & Curing Grove Bags Test Thread

Little update. The bags work well. However, they are not built to last if you atart to use the material in the bag. The "Ziplock" failed after about 10x opening and closing. That being said, I dont think they are meant to be reused 10x. So if you use them as a curing tool and dont open/close they should hold up longer. Pleased with the curing results on my Grape Rolex. Peace, slow

Quick update after leaving it now for some time. The humidity did go up eventually I believe it got up to 55% I still haven’t opened the bag yet but there is no smell outside the bag. Perhaps tonight I’ll crack it open and see the results

My bag of zkittles is still sitting at same 58% it has for the entire time in the bag! Was told on IG can cure in bags but when I was sealing mine up was told needed to be cured Pre sealing flowers inside so will prob bag up some to cure inside from next harvest now that I know!

Indeed seems smellproof tho cuz I def don’t smell anything on outside of the bag! :headbang:

Hang on to the handlebars here we go...............

I am curing right in the bags.

@Grove Bags I have dried two plants to the point I would normally put them in jars for the cure to begin. I estimate they are dried to <.7

I got a little over 13 ounces. I put 1/4 P of 420FastBuds Original Skunk Auto in one bag and then filled 2 -1oz bags and part of a third. Then I put 1/4 P of Zambeza Blueberry in a bag and 2 - 1oz bags and a bit in the mixed bag.

I placed a hygrometer in each bag and have only sealed by zip. I will heat seal when I am confident I did not put in too wet.

What is the wettest flower can be sealed and still remain mold free?

I put my zkittles FB from solo cup grow into 1 of my grove bags and the guy kinda confused me when he told me what to do before sealing it up and he told me needed to be cured 1st (now I know can cure in the bags) but I put mine in at 58% and put a little hygrometer in mine too! Seems every time I check it it’s still reading 58%! Trying to keep mine sealed up to do the full 6mo test with it!

Their rep cleared it up on IG and said yes u can! After I was telling couple peeps that got them they needed to cure it 1st! :crying: How I found out I unnecessarily cured AND USED A BOVEDA PACK so I could get rh into the range I was told it needed to be at before sealing!

Glad from my zkittles plant since was 1st time using these bags I picked all the prettiest buds and stuffed em in this bag so once I either hit 6mo or somehow smoke up my current 11oz+ before next harvest I’ll at least have a long cured zkittles to toke on! Who knows maybe if I have enough I’ll just store til Christmas time and then get me a 50pk if king palms and pack everyone some Christmas presents!
Also obv 1/2oz won’t fill 50 of em! Extra 35 tubes will be for me!:toke:
