Harvest & Curing Grove Bags Test Thread

I missed the harvest of my last grow by a couple of weeks so it will be a while before I have a harvest to test. The bags look very professional.

Ok so I received three storage bags and one 27gal bag for trim?? I have a one ounce, 1/4 ounce and 1/8 ounce bags. I put one ounce of purple Rolex in the one ounce bag and there was plenty of room. I did this about a week ago. Bud was a over dried but should come back somewhat. Humidity has raised slightly over the week hoping it gets up to 58. I didn’t heat seal because I wanted to make sure the humidity would be bale to rise on its own. I will now heat seal the bag tonight and keep checking it. Gonna put some in the smaller bags and heat seal. I will say they r nice bags but not as easy to load as a jar.

I just spoke to the logistics guy for @Grove Bags. Nice man with lots of info. He called me to answer a question I asked about the shipping of my latest order placed yesterday. Now that is customer service :clapper:. We talked about many things. One was that the bags need a bit of head space to work properly so don't over-stuff them.

Somehow I ended up on their new - Not released yet web site? That is why the AFN discount code did not work. It works if you go to the site from the links in here.

Okx minor update. I used the 1oz bag to put some Purple Rolex into a few weeks ago. I have not burped the bag or anything, but have opened it 2x to just check on the buds. I will say, the bags keep the smells from excaping and the buds feel perfectly dried. I did do a decent job drying it, so the humidity should have been pretty good when I put them away a few weeks ago. So they didnt get dried out or too moist. I am not sure how well they would adjust the humidity in the bag if too dry? I also agree with @Mizzo81, they are not as easy to load and unload as a jar on the smaller sized bags. So, as of now I would say they work well and are not expensive. I will put a few buds in the smallest Grove bag today, and will pick out some that are a little dryer. I want to see if these bags adjust the Humidity upwards at all. Because I am a little confused at how that works in these and they would be much more useful if they do regulate the humidity on material that is too dry. Drying your product properly is the most important part, so if dried properly the bags dont need to do much...but what if the buds are too dry or too moist? Anyone know the answer? Peace, slow

I filled the smaller bags 1/4 oz and 1/8 Oz again kind of a pain to fill. The bud I put in the larger bags was dried to around 48% and they’ve stayed that way in the larger bag. The same plant was also Jarred and humidity has returned I’ll have to check but it’s up around 58% in jars with 62% humidity packs. The smaller bags were filled with bud that is stable 58-60%.

The first two plants I harvest always dry a little faster. Once more entered the tent for their dark period humidity goes up so drying slows down. But In jars they always come back close to where they should be.

Haven't received mine yet

what is this tread about? is it for bubble hash? I need new bags I used mine out last year I make a tone of hash evey year looking for a bag that can handle my yearly load. Most bags last about a half a year for me...... I make over a lb of hash per year. Anyone looking for a good reliable marketer let me know I love to make hash! I havent found a bag that can last a season yet!

That is a lot of hash! The Grove Bags are for storage and curing not hash making. I don't think they have anything like that but we can ask the rep. @Grove Bags
