briman made a post somewhere about bubblebowls, I looked them up and was sold. Yes they are a little pricey, but damn! I had been dragging on getting a bunch of trim done.
Got em and knocked 15gallons of trim and shake down in a few hours.
If I want to get a melt or shatter, I just quick wash that keif with a bit of everclear, strain into a silicon bowl and keep at 115f for several hours. (overnight at least, more than 12 hours if you can)(no open flame folks)
remove bowl to freezer and it will harden very quickly, turn bowl inside out for nice bit of shatter.
PS. that is just the basic recipe, you can make it more complex (and cleaner) by giving your solution a dry/iso bath.
Freeze your ethanol wash overnight in its jar. try not to disturb.

I just suggest starting with 1 quart 91%iso that has been in a residential freezer at least overnight, keep a thick bowl in the freezer with it.
have dry ice pellets or broken pieces ready.
Pour iso into freezing cold bowl.
place jar containing ethanol wash into this bowl (the bath)
begin to place a few pellets or pieces of dry ice at a time into the bath once you have reached saturation level of the iso with the dry ice, your ethanol wash in the jar is about as cold as it is going to get with conventional means,
nearly all waxs, oils, unfortunately also some terpenes will freeze and fall to the bottom of your jar.
this can filtered into a silcon bowl and then heated as mention above.
