GREEN LIFE BIOTICS TEST/REVIEW

Chop of non-test Mack & Crack
Chopped the non-tester M&C this am. Just a cursory wet trim, removal of lg fans. And they are hung. I’ll update with final dry weight with comparison. The only caveat is that the non tester went 1 week more than GLB M&C so don’t know how that’ll play out…

Thanks, and that is probably how I will present it to the site as if not using the original Enhance MC it may not be worth it from the microbial side if not trying to puish plants, but if just applying the Micro DS micronutrient and Brix57 sugar that can be adjusted to less often to give additional terps and trichomes and resin.

We do a lot of farming so nutrients are pushed through in a season but if sending small bottles in the summer when its hot it will activate the microbes as we put them into suspension, and we can't control the mail and if its sitting in a hot van all day. So basically we will probably look at only sending out the microbial in larger qualities not during height of summer and or recommend putting in fridge to cool down. Microbes are best under 70 degrees but if they drop under 50 they will go into suspension as well and slow down.
I can absolutely see this being more beneficial for a larger scale operation where enhancing all of the root zone with better control than a home hobbyist can manage is key.

APK#11 - Day 87

7 gal

She's in the harvest window and probably ready to come down. Unfortunately the weekend got away from me and I'm going away till Friday so she will have to wait to get chopped.

I got control of my low Nitrogen and yellowing leaves issue by upping the base nutrients. I saw signs of a sulfer deficiency as my soil runs its course. I added some Epsom as well as 6 ml./gal of Accelerate and .15ml/gal of micro to this next/last watering. I barely used any nuitients during this grow as I tried to see how far the bag soil and GLB addatives could get me. I will defenitly be increasing the base feed during the middle of the grow as I continue to use tha GLB additives during my future grows.

Harvest update- Apollo black cherry
Both Apollo black cherry girls have been harvested. Roughly a week apart… The GLB tester was first.

This one was dry trimmed this am and placed in paper grocery bags for a sweat before jarring.

and ABC #2 that was harvested this am…

This one will be dry trimmed on Wednesday and follow the same path as #1.

also weight update on Mack&Crack #1 & 2
#1 final dry weight after 5 day dry and 2 day sweat… 69.5 grams. GLB tester
#2 final dry weight after 5 day dry and 2 day sweat… 72 grams Non tester that went a week longer than #1

so far, my opinion on the amendments:
I have never seen fades like this in my normal grows, all plants faded nicely… even non testers.
My plants seemed way happier with GLB than without. It definitely made the nugs dense and the oil and trichomes production was definitely heavy!
I think with time and some fiddling with doses I believe that I could’ve done better… I didn’t feed heavy/push plants as I didn’t know what to expect.

All in all- beneficial to my grow and during veg I could visibly see the benefits. Again, thanks to @GreenLifeBiotics for this chance to test an amazing product. I’ll update later with Apollo black cherry final weights!

Apollo Black Cherry #1 GLB tester final dry wt
After a 5 day dry and 2 day sweat in paper grocery bags the weight is over (giggle)…

ABC #1 GLB tester final dry wet is 108.21g = 3 oz, 24.21g

I am very happy with the yield and will update next Friday with the final dry wt of ABC #2 non GLB as the comparison, and final dry yield of the total run.

So, I never did get the clone thing to work. But! I can absolutely say that the quality of my buds has increased exponentially since I have been using the GLB. I don't want to ever have to grow without it lol. I can go a while without watering with just the way I've got myself set up to grow, and I think the LOM plays a big part in keeping my moisture levels stable (along with my large volume of soil). My buds have been crazy sticky, some to the point of being straight up oily. I've had nothing but positive feedback from friends who have tried the buds, even in comparison to buds I had previously grown. I've also had a huge increase in bud density overall. With running my plants in a no till bioactive style organic setup I was rather apprehensive about adding anything new to the equation but I've been nothing but impressed with the GLB amendments. I happily bought 32oz jugs of all of them which should last me quite some time. I love how tiny an amount you need and its crazy to me how such a miniscule addition to my water can make such a huge impact on my plants.

My current lady, a Afghan x NL. She looks to be in her final bulking phase so shouldn't be long now. If you look close you can see the slightest hints of a lavender fade starting on her sugar leaves near the tops of her colas.

thanks and how did you do the cloning. The reality is we change the nature of Roots2shoots a little it used to be a little thicker so it clung to the stem but technically we changed it more for the cloning solution once we added the fish in.

best case is use your normally rooting if hormone based and use 1 mL enhance MC and 1 mL Roots2Shoots in the cloning water per gallon of water.

if trying to clone and use as a clone dip you would basically put 1-2 ml of Roots2Shoots in a shot glass no water non diluted and dip the end in the Roots2Shoots put in plug and then use the left over in the shot glass to add to a gallon of water plus 1 mL of enhance Mc and water throughout cloning with that mixture.

if you just want to add the Roots2Shoots once rooted for transplant shock it should stil kick your roots up but you maywant To only use a few times for one week until it gets to week 4 of flower when it won’t root any longer but just help with secondary metabolites

Harvest
APK#11 - Day 101

7 gal

This plant basically grew from what was available in my super soil and GLB Ammendments. I added some Maxigro here and there but nothing like I normally do and she's still a beast. Looking forward to trying to push my next grow to the limits.

Still foxtailing but not much i can do about it now. I'm guessing it's due to Temps. Im trying to keep up on the dieing leaves to make sure they dont receed into the buds and cause bud rot. Trich check says it's about harvest time so. I'll check back in, in a couple weeks with a weigh in and bud shots.

Final weights, and overview!
Alrighty then, down to brass tacks (tax?)

final weights of tester and non tester plants. All were harvested and processed in the exact same fashion. Both non tester plants went a week longer than test plants. Here are the final weights…

Mack&Crack-
Test plant- 69.5g
Non test- 72g one week longer

Apollo black cherry-
Test plant- 108.21g
Non test- 85g

the Apollo black cherry tester obviously benefitted greatly from GLB amendments as the weight can attest to, even though the non test plant grew a week longer.

the Mack and crack doesn’t seem to be affected, neither positively nor negatively using GLB amendments.

All in all, in my personal opinion… and with some “playtime” i.e. tweaking of rates, etc I believe that these products could be a breakout product for the whole industry! I haven’t seen any product(s) that so positively effect the plant, in all stages of growth. A great product for tinkerers that want to maximize their plants and also a great product that novice growers can use and feel confident in!

I did not push my plants, approximately middle on the doses verging on the lower. All in all it was an excellent and informative experience! When I can budget it I will be placing an order!
