Thanks mate I am hoping for about 4 ounces or so, but you would have read that if AFN program didn't suck as bad as it does. Anyway, how do you get a thread to read COMPLETE in bold red letters when you want to end a thread and start a new one. Of course I may not start a new one but at least people will know this one is over and not being added to and not waste their time like I have?

We have new software being upgraded right on a new server now so hopefully for the new year everything will be up and going.

It's in the prefixes when you first start thread. They have a few different to choose from but after thread has been open for a bit a mod or admin has to update thread title. I have marked it as complete for you now.

I was a network administrator for 20 years. Users are constantly loosing data because they do not follow good computing practices. Instead of flaming us for poor skills learn how to avoid problems by saving in a timely fashion. When posting to a blog or any web page a long or complicated message "especially when stoned" do it in a word processor on your PC first, preferably with auto save turned on to every 15 seconds. Then cut and past to the web page.

Hang in there, Smowk! I agree the software platform and its stability has significant way to go. Believe me, I have lost quite a few posts and conversation history.

What is great about this place isn't the software. There are much better platforms. It's the feeling of comradeship, the helpfulness, and the general vibe. I hope you stick around brother! We got more learning to do. Screw the software issues, we can work around them.

Whatever @Mañ'O'Green I'm sure it's too late for "Alt + backspace" we've been through this before, the program SHOULDN'T be changing pages because I misspelled a name and backspaced, SO FUCKING STUPID!... you can take your good computing practices and 20 years and shove 'em as far as you can…. I'm not flaming you personally but if you are the originator of this crappy program then flame away.

I hear ya. It was fun until now. I don't think I'll be doing anymore journals though, too much work to be erased because of a commonly used keystroke.
