New Grower Gratefully green husband

Great job! You will be having a great time smoking your own for Christmas
Appreciate it Dude, that was the plan and I can't wait. But in the mean time, we will finish this grow up, do some upgrades to the room for winter, sanitize everything, put some beans in the pots and hopefully, germinate a new crop by Xmas morning. :shooty:

To you, and all other who have tagged me in the last week, sorry I've been laid up sick for a week with the flu.S much for getting my flu shot last month!

And you've got some fine looking ladies there!

:slap:
Appreciate it pop! I wish you a full recovery:pass:

:toke: It has been a busy week with the garden. First, I pulled a complete stoner :baked: and deleted the final pics of the WCOG before I put her into darkness :goauto: So, 48 hrs later I gave her the chop. She was a tiny thing :weed:15 inches high :weed: with some beautiful dense nuggets. I started to see more amber trichs and decided it was time. I hung her to dry in the guest bath turning the fan on and off throughout the day (70 F/ 50%RH). They should be nicely cured in time for Xmas :xmas: Second, I turned my $300 DIY grow tent/room ( DIY Grow Room 7'7" x 8' x 8'6" for less than $300 https://www.autoflower.org/threads/diy-grow-room-7-7-x-8-x-8-6-for-less-than-300.67262/ ) into a $500 grow room :meds:Last week there were a few nights where temps dropped into the 20s and the heater struggled to keep temperatures within range. I decide to winterize my space if I wanted to do another grow this winter :cools: I added a layer of ridged insulation and tightened things up :pass:

I should have a dry weight in a week or so. A preliminary taste too.

So I decided to wrap the room in pink and I ended up changing the whole dynamics to the grow environment. I went with a 1 1/2 inch thick 7.5R rigid foam insulation thinking it would be an easy project. I guess it was easy but it took twice as long as I thought. And I didn't really stop for too many smoke breaks at all, swear :LOLStoned: And it's a nasty job, bunch of static clingy pink pebbles of smelly foam  I'm glad I don't do that for a living.

Even before I finished (3 sides completed) temperatures shot up to 90 and I had to turn on the AC unit to cool things down, besides it was a warm day in the 60s. The effects were immediate, turned the heater down to 68... just in case... lol, and have adjusted the AC unit to 74. The dehumidifier has basically been reduced to a useless piece of equipment because this stuff is non-wicking and no moisture gets through, I have it set at 55% otherwise it will suck all the moisture out of everything and it will be less than 40% inside. I'm trying to keep it between 50 and 55%. I may have to add the humidifier. I'll get it dialed in and I don't think I'll have any issues this winter. Can't believe I had to turn to AC back on in December. I love going in my garden though, it's so nice and toasty. :warrior:

If i didnt have nosey ass neighbors id be copying your design in my garage/shed. Im about to overhaul it in the spring. Insulate, put in a window unit, panel the walls, and cover the concrete with something.

Fire one off for me [emoji108] HG

I hear ya @Hypathetical Gardener my neighbors aren't too close or nosey but it doesn't mean they won't show up unexpectedly. I'm going to black out the windows, even though I keep the blinds drawn, just in case of prying eyes (like tax assessors) I try to keep the doors closed as much as possible. :peace:
