It’s a little thing I picked up in this bookView attachment 1347161
Basically use wicking ability of the ropes to pull the water/nutrients up to the plant. I’m using Promix BX, soilless hydro feeding/watering from the bottom. They will stay perfectly watered until they get big enough to need more water then the wick can provide. This method is called the training wheels of hydro.

I’ve started a couple autos with bigger wicks and smaller pots. Will be starting a kind of how to journal soon. Been kind of busy building the grow room and not really keeping a tight journal. Will do better on the next.

The wicks in the pots I’ve been using are to small and two few to support the plants now. I will use the wicks to deliver things like cal mag and kool bloom and put my base nutrients in the top.

Think I’ll try the 3/8 virgin cotton stuff I got off Amazon first.

just put the 4 anvils in 2 gallon airpots with 2 thick wicks. They will love them unless they get to salty.
The girls don’t like salty wicks!!!!!!

Well i burnt them with the nutes. Put 6 tbs instead of 6 tsp in five gallons of nutes.

been flushing them for a week.

Things got ugly but I believe they will be fine. Any ways I’m back in veg for another week or so.
