New Grower Gorilla Glue Autos in a 4x4 tent. New grower. Advice welcomed.

Little confused on this comment.
Are you growing in soil or hydro?
For growing in soil i thought you wanted PH between 6.0 - 7.0
I have no way to test my soil as of right now. Just the PH and PPM
I don’t think the plants know what medium the are in. 6.0 (median of water and soil), for me all mediums now. Maybe fine tune but done great for me before, tried the numbers you said and my grow is a mess. If I were going to soak a seed or paper towel, it would be in/with 6.0 water.

that's how I test my soil. First make wet with 6.0 water and remove anything that can damage meter.

Must have thinking cap on. Just watered with 6.0 reading is 6.25, soil maybe 6.3-6.35 since 6.0 watering brings it down slightly,

Okay, im catching what you were saying.

I water 6.3-6.4pH medium with 5.6-5.7pH water

you test your soil, once it hits 6.3-6.4, you then water it was 5.6-5.7 pH water.

How important is it to be able to test your soil? I have not invested in a soil pH tester yet. Thought i would be good with PPM and pH meter:help:

I am talking pH only. I test the soil to see it’s pH. The pH of the soil dictates the pH of the water you will use to water it, median of the them should be 6.0

Understood!
So would you just leave it at that? Keep it as a reference for your next watering? Its at a fair pH at 6.3.

The coco is 6.3, I will put 5.7 pH, 1.3 ec nute water in the res. I call it the portable pot (this is the 2 pot version).

Those numbers seem off to me

That's not how to test soil ph...
Please review this article for a better method of testing soil ph.

right on. in your link says direct soil testing which is what I did. I get the same readings as with my soil pen

coco

Peat

I like to use a variety of methods to compare results and I think my favorite is to test run off, but to have it match exactly what you are putting in. Not such a big deal for coco or peat, but some soils have a lot going on and different readings in different spots, even with this method different variables to consider.
