Marshydro just announced that they have seedling mats now, and we get an AFN discount with them across the board, I think the code is AFN10 but you may need to double check!about 36hrs now, still no tap on the other three, even after being wrapped in a paper towel, placed in a ziplock and sat on a heat source (had a magazine on top of the bag) about to write those as a lose.
I ended up purchasing a heating mat for the next round of seeds. I'll try the method I mentioned earlier from the start with these.
Will be reading this today, thanks for sharing!

Good read. Will definitely need to alter my PPM once i start watering and adding nutes. It mentioned adding DI and RO to lower the PPM. I'm assuming DI distilled water, and RO is reverse osmosis?
You won't have issues planting autos at different times - in fact, that's how you can guarantee a lot of harvests! I usually plant a new auto when flowers appear on the auto they're replacing.
You mentioned you're using Happy Frog. I use that. I've also used BuildASoil and Miracle Gro. So far, I've done the best with Happy Frog. I've been growing for just over a year and made the decision to stick with the frog until someone convinces me otherwise.
Warm is good. Too cool and failure rate goes up. I like to get them started at ~30C. IMO, anything less than 25C is not a good idea.
As to putting them in water for more than four hours or so, I never do that, but if I did, I would keep the water very shallow to make sure that it stays oxygenated. I find a three hour soak in 1/3 peroxide 2/3 distilled water works well. Then into wet towel at ~30C until I see a tap started. I rarely wait more than 36 hours to see taps. I usually write them off after three days if they have not shown healthy taps - but note well that this is at my temperatures. Seeds can be a lot slower at lower temps.
Good luck with it.
No, I use a heat mat and grow tray. After the initial soak in peroxide mix, the seeds go into a light proof lidded container which holds them in wet paper towel or cotton cloth in a vertical position. This container goes into the heated grow tray until tap roots emerge. Once tap roots appear, the seeds are planted either in peat plugs, or directly in seedling mix in a transplant pot. The plugs and/or pots are placed inside the tray with a clear lid over the tray to keep RH up. Temperature in the tray is controlled by an inkbird controller. I used to put seeds in a plastic container or ziplock on top of a router, but upgraded that setup to gain better control over temperature, and be able to keep new seedlings heated and with high RH.Do you keep the seeds in a bag once on heat?
