New Grower Gorilla Glue Autos in a 4x4 tent. New grower. Advice welcomed.

Awesome info, thanks.

I’ll need to look into melissa oil too!

I’ll check those nematodes out.
About how many should i look at getting for five 5-gal pots? 5 million sounds like enough lol.

I see they have nemATTACK, and nemSEEK.
Should i be looking at nemATTACK?
If I remember correctly only difference between the 2 is the more expensive of those two choices is actually OMRI listed for those Uber picky organic peeps! I used the cheaper of the 2 personally even tho everything else I use is all organic I didn’t think these really mattered! Also 5 million is plenty for that many pots but if u have an outbreak I’d suggest getting the 10million count since only like $5 more! The more u start with faster they can go to work knocking out infestation! And way they work is they burrow into the body of the gnat and eat and multiply inside and once consumed they bust out and that new lil colony moves on all now looking for their own food and continues process always multiplying while outbreak exists! And I was bug free since applying mine in September and was literally 3 weeks or so ago I had the fungus gnats in the 2x4 but the pots in big tent that were treated never got any! Hell I transplanted 4 from the 2x4 into those big pots but still haven’t had 1 gnat in the pots with the nematodes and predator mites!

I did have some other bugs living in my straw mulch where the nematodes couldn’t get to them so I used some captain Jack’s to kill them off which in all likelihood killed off what was left of the mites I applied but nematodes did their job and kept me fungus gnat free!

If u call that arbico place to make an order if u wanna kill em off really quick they can recommend a pest spray that’s organic that u can use as IPM to spray plants to keep bugs away but also in the meantime can water it in to kill them things off muy rapido without harming any beneficial bugs or microbes in your soil! Lost coast plant therapy is a good 1 I know of and they actually offer small sample bottle for just cost of shipping which is like $6! It’s like 4oz which is enough to make 4 gallons worth so should be enough to kill off all gnats before u use it up! ;) :d5:

Got some nematodes ordered, so hopefully a combo of that and mosquito dunks takes care of my fungus gnat problem.

I started LST’ing my gorilla cake.
Its got two good sized stems so i figured it was time

I’ve got an AK seed in soil but hasn't broken above yet.

I’ve got two more pots that I want to get some seeds in. Probably some Early Miss seeds.

Really want to start germinating the seeds for the other two pots but i’m thinking it would be a better idea to wait for the yucca powder and the gnat treatment.

What do you guys thing?
Will they be good enough for seeds, and when i get the treatment I can just take care of them all at the same time?

Personally I'd try your best to tackle the knat issue before germination of any other seeds. The last thing you want is a whole tent infected and all that time, effort and cost wasted.
Unless you have another tent that you can quarantine the sick plant?

I remeber reading something about soil that is heavy with wood chips can increase the likelihood of knat infestation. If this is correct. Maybe think about changing up the soil for your next soil purchase.
There are people on here way more knowledgeable than me though.

No, unfortunately this is my only tent.
I’d like to get as much of a yield as I can at one time as i’m renting and only have six months to grow before having to get the house “inspection ready” lol.
Struggle of renting and wanting to grow for yourself.

I know your pain. I remember having to do the same dance with my landlord.
I managed to pack everything away just in time for inspection, then she walked into the front room and said "oh! This is spotless, I want expecting this. No need to check the rest."
I was both happy and royally pissed off :crying: .

I really hope it all works out time time for you buddy

Mosquito dunks are going in today.

1/4 of a tab per gallon?

Certain time length i have to let it steep?

Will be letting it sit for atleast an hour.

Hope everyone is doing well!

I’m curious about LST.
On my biggest auto i’ve been moving the position of where i tie it down depending on the newest growth I see. If i notice bigger fan leaves are covering it i adjust it so the new growth gets the most light.

When it gets taller than the pot is width wise, then I plan on just tying it so that it sideways for the remainder of the growth.

I’m just worried that i might be moving it too much.

When should I start adding nutes?

My biggest one(gorilla cake) is about a month old now.

Looks healthy and growing fast. Should I wait until I start noticing defects before adding nutes?

All my nutes are from Fox Farm.
And my soil is fox farm OF
Have not been adding anything to their water besides silica, and one round of 1/4 of a mosquito dunk.

Today I will add another 1/4 of a mosquito dunk, and some yucca powder - 1-gal water -to my pots.
I’ll be adjusting my PPM with this watering as the plants are getting bigger and starting to take up more nutes. I don't think I’ll add any nutes to the water as the flowers dont seem to have any deficiencies at the moment.
It seems better to under-do, than over-do.
