New Grower Gorilla Glue Auto. First Auto Grow.

Like Archie said, they will probably only need water first 1-2 weeks. Promix bx looks like soil for seedlings/small plants. Their website did not offer much info on nutrient levels, so i would read the info on the bag.

Also loving the fact that it has added mycorrhizae! Make sure to take some photos of the roots if you can. Would love to see some results as i'm planning on adding it to my own grow. Some sellers say it can increase root mass by 700%!

Good luck!
Yea im kinda confused on it. The best I could find is it has a very weak nutrient content, and the guy at the store said after a handful of waterings it will deplete. What I get from it, they consider it soilless since it is mostly peat based with vermac, perlite and the myco with a little dead matter. I will def throw up a root ball pic at the end for ya. Im curious myself as to what is brewing down there haha

Promoix is great. I've been using it for a couple years. I prefer the HP as apposed to the BX, the only difference being, HP (high porosity) has more perlite. Promix is not soil, it is a "soiless" medium, meaning, it lacks nutrients. Therefore, you will have complete control of all food given. There is enough food in the seed itself to feed up to 2 weeks. I start a light feed, 1/4 recommended dose @ day 10, increasing gradually until full dosage, around day 35-40, depending how she responds.
I'm not too familiar with HPS but I would think you may wanna raise the light a bit more. Let the stretch happen and lower accordingly. I find it's always better to err on the side of, too high, rather than too low.
I'll tag along and would be happy to help, if needed.
Good luck!!!
Thanks for the info! What little info ive seen around, people made the promix sound more complicated and I felt a little daunted. I raised the light up another 6 inches last night and the seem to have appreciated it. They have a little more color coming back. Ill do what you recommend and give a light feeding at day 10 and see how they respond. Should i add a tiny bit of calmag to feeding regiment as well since im using the RO water?

I use 1/4 strength Calmag 2nd feed. But, the I use LED and they are hungrier for it, with these lights. Then again, I use tap water also.
My best suggestion would be, I guess, giive 1/4 strength of it with first feed. Someone else, I'm sure, is more knowledgable with HPS and RO water.

You could poke a few holes in the surface with a dibber or pencil and drop some in but don't wait too long as it needs time to grow.
Niiice.
Do you have any pics of the rootsystem after harvest? Rootporn is just as good as budporn :eyebrows:
Also, i have read about different methods for applying it to a plant already in a pot, but do you have any recommendations?

Sorry for going off track here, jh573561 :pass:

Hello everyone! Its been couple days, just wanted to update. I let the soil dry out and added 1 1/2ml of calmag to their water and they loved it. Guess the were a bit hungry. Gonna let the soil dry dry some more and give them a very light feeding with the floranova grow on top of the calmag. The one has some mutations on its leaves but im hoping its next set come in healthy. It also helped to raise the light a few inches. Thanks to everyone who has given advice. I will keep this journal going to the end, and will try not to forget root ball pictures for those interested in seeinf what the myco can do cause I know I am haha Have an awesome day everyone :smoking:

Well all is looking good :) they are really really small tho, only 3 inches. But they are bushing out. The lst is working so far. They havent sexed yet but keeping an eye out. Started a NL Auto from a different seedbank, hoping it will get bigger since these have stayed so small. Till next time!

Hey everyone. Dropped by to update since it been a few days. They are doing pretty well, other than being very small. The lst'd one is gonna be my best out of the two GG. Got some very early preflowers showing, just waiting to see the pistils emerge.

This one I left untrained just to see how it would grow. Its short and bushy so I may get a nice few grams off it.
