Indoor gorilla glue #4 fem auto

so figured I will start up a grow journal for this lady since my kera auto never flowerd at a little over 8 weeks in. always thought of a grow journal so what a better time to start. so shall we begin.
this will be my 3rd auto grow including that bad genetic 2nd grow. anyhow excited to get this famous strain started! and actually smoke legit gorilla glue not the supplier says it's this crap

strain: gorilla glue [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] fem
seedbank: fastbuds
soil: just some plain organic soil from the local greenhouse
lighting: 340watt cfl 7-42w 2-23 mix of 2700k and 6500k
nutrients: ff trio (grow big,big bloom,tiger bloom)
pot size: 5 gallon
grow time: 8-9week from sprout

welp I guess that all for now I will update in a few days.

Not to hurt your feelings brother but this not a legit GG#4.you will not be smoking it.I think fast buds is a great breeder and i know there was a big dispute about josey whales being told they wasnt going to name it gorilla glue [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG].The only way your gonna get GG 4 is from a clone only and thats it.There are some s1's going around and a bunch of crosses with it but when its mixed into ruderallis its not even close.Sorry man to inform you i just hate to see people thinking there getting the real deal and its not.Ive seen the real GG4 and ive seen the auto version and there is 0 comparison.Not to say fast buds did a terrible job cause they did a very good job crossing gg4 into an auto but thats as far as it goes.I have run FB gear before and for autoflowers i think they are great.Like there GSC is so far off the real one its funny.Ive grown both.But for an auto you cant go wrong with FB either way.Just dont tell your buyers or friends that know how cannibas genetics works you have a real deal GG 4 auto cause they might give you a hard time.Now Mephisto i have alot of love for.He took some killer clones and crossed them to rudderalis and renamed the strains with the crosses.Ive seen there grows and was pretty impressed,

thanks for the info! no hurt feelings here, yea It will be personal so worries on a hard time buy anyone but what you say all makes sense. I've never got real legit gg4 before so I won't be able to see the difference. so what it's just really sticky buds that they called gg4? I'm just glad to have a good auto seed company seed. I have a few fast but when o order my seeds last fall I was new to auto didn't know breeders that were reputable and such. but again thanks for that information!

GG4 is some good stuff created by josey whales.It was an accidental pollination of a hermied plant and was grown out by another guy and was the [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] pheno so it got its name that way.Alot of seed breeders trying to cash in on famous lineage names to sell seeds.I mean i guess they are doing what they have to do but the only real GG4 is a clone only.The closest your gonna get it an S1 seed meaning the clone was reversed and crossed to itself.tony green has made gorilla bubble that is very close but you have to understand how genetics works to understand that trying to create a GG auto would be like shuffling a brand new deck of cards and trying to shuffle them back into exact order.Its impossible.But a breeder can take GG4 and use the genetics to create some very nice autos.The problem is when they name it after the clone only strain to try and sell seeds.Noobs and people who dont know any better think there getting some killer shit but in reality its not even close to the clone only plant but still might be a very good strain.
Most legit breeders like topdawg,cannaventure,greenpoint,gage green,etc etc and so on will take some very nice strains and create regular crosses and rename them.Like GG4 crossed to sour diesel and call it gorilla diesel but a breeder that names a crossed strain the name of the clone only is a little bit of marketing ploy in all honesty.
This is why alot of heavy strains are photos because you can clone the originals from growing out several seeds and finding a special very select female plant.Autos are breeding only so all the seeds you get could be a crap shoot on compatibally.I have yet to grow a group of autos that were similar.
they all have there place but if you are breeding or growing for pure dank than photos are where its at.there are definitly some good autos out there but never gonna be as good as the originals.And even if you find an auto that you absolutely love you cant clone her so once shes gone shes gone lol

yea I've always done photos up untill now well this is [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] for autos. I have 8 auto seed left after they are used up I'll probably stick with photos but I always had thought about trying to grow some..it is nice to just have the straight original strain and like you said not have the crap shoot. but yea I could see the marketing thing with the straight name.
