I have to add, I reckon I could get a better discount walking in off the street if we were talking a bit of money eh? I still don’t quite understand the 3% discount.

Repeat: it's not sale promotion. have you saw one store sale promotion all the time? the coupon code can be used for every time. we also have promotion, like 10% discount or other big promotion, I also have posted the banner on my thread every time. If you think the discount is too low, you can choose to not use it, you can wait our sale promotion, that will help you save more money. but I think somebody wants to get a light, but there's no way to wait for a promotional event, so he can use the discount code to get a better price than usual.

Especially when they follow it with a statement like, ‘watch our non-AFN event and ...then... we’ll give you 10% off!’ Lol! If that’s all they think of the AFN market, or can’t afford more than that, I think they deserve to keep that 3%.

I spend most of my time on this platform every day, and if I don't value it, I don't have to spend any time on it.

Well...that is the first time I've heard anyone arguing about being given a Discount.....

and as far as Mars Live nights..

@MarshydroTina told us they were having an Event..there would be an enhanced discount and also spot prizes to be won...it is part of our job to get as big a share of any discounts/prizes for AFN members as we can...so we let you know.

Nothing was underhand...and nothing was Compulsory..where is the problem...?.....

We are trying to encourage vendors to give AFN members discounts....seeing this response is hardly going to encourage any other vendors stepping up to the plate..huh...?

It wasn’t about being “happy” or “unhappy” it was simply the fact that it was confusing, that’s all. There is and never really was a problem. I’m all for business and vendors being active here to drum up more business etc. I was also perhaps offering some constructive criticism.
@MarshydroTina Was your proposition for real? I’m not after a free light or anything as suggested , I’m actually semi retired with 100 acres of land and am a pretty straight down the line guy, I was director, owner and executive chef of the biggest catering company in our region, so I really wasn’t having a go at you, I’m also only responsible for what I post, roll one up and kick back everyone.
