Well I still got nothing in the 3 jars after 3 weeks. So I think I screwed something up. Bad thing is I've been too busy/lazy (haha can those 2 words even go together? YES too busy and then too lazy when you're not busy!!) Summers are really busy for me. Gonna be back outta town from today through the weekend and back on Sun to harvest my F&V and then maybe, just maybe, I will have a chance to noc up the 3 remaining jars that I have. Either next payday or the one after that I should be able to round up supplies to make some LC.

I'd say the spores/myc you used were bunk... Then again, I did an experiment myself where I put the unsterilized leftover substrate in a half quart mason jar with the leftover spores from making syringes (which were valid as f)... Nothing yet, not even apparent contaminations. I knew the cube spores were never going to have a chance, but I thought I'd gain some knowledge on different types of contamination.

Still, I'm too afraid to open it up and smell it after all these weeks, the lack of anything creeps me out :rofl:
 
Yeah, nothing at all. No contams, no nothing, not even smell. It kinda looks like the spores were bunk, but I hope not. It was such a pain to get these ones. I might have fried them though when I flame sterilized the needle because I forgot to squirt some out after flaming. Im not sure, just a guess at this point as to why. The only thing I can do is try again :) and I'll try a different syringe the next time too.
 
Bubble. Please for the love of bubblekarma, before you use up any more spores or do anything else.....wait til you make some l.c. then you'll have so much to work with you won't know what the hell to do. And you can go crazy.

As always, just my 2cents worth.

Side note: WW your username is about mushrooms yea? Well it makes sense in my head. wiener (mushroom) woods (lots of shrooms fruiting).
