GMan does Cream of the Crop Seeds Narcotherapy Auto

Hey Kanni, nice to see you mate.
It's a 20l pot and I get about 500ml of run off from 3l.

Ph question, I watered last night with plain water with molasses. The ph was 7 and as I'm hoping the soil will buffer I did not adjust it. The run off was also 7. So my soil ph is a little high, although the new growth is great and not showing any signs of dislike for the soil. So here's the question, what can I top dress the soil with that's going to lower the ph without upsetting the balance of the soil?
dolomite lime i think lowers PH. and i only water my girl with 1L and shes in 20L pot so u may be overwating a tad for her size.

I may be wrong, but I don't think you wanna use dolomite to lower pH. If I'm wrong, I apologize.

Gman , here kind of early and on time for the show...

Best of karma your way mate.

My AutoX is about the same age as your Narcotherapy, always interesting to see differences in size and all with a similar set up as mine, even if they are completely different strains and phenos.
I have been using equilibrium for all my grows and only got it dialed in on the BDXL. No Cal or Mag def so far, on a regime of 0.75 to 1.5ml per L from week 2/3.

Subbed up!:goodluck:

Edit: your water PH shouldn't be touched unless you over 7.6 really (mine sits around 7.5) as the Biobizz nutes will bring it down.
I ve been trying all sorts and again its now that I stopped tweaking (vinegar, and all sorts) my water that everything is fine. Dolomite lime seems to be good but I never used it.
The latest I used was Canna BIO PH-Down and it did the job, but I stopped it and I haven't had any problems so far. My 2 cents.

Gman if you want to lower PH Use vinegar to lower the water PH before you feed. Like my soil run 6.8 7.0 because I use lime, So i PH my feed water to 5.8 5.9 then the run off will run 6.5 or so..

Dolomite lime moves the soil toward 7.0, so most of the time it's used to raise pH. Generally we don't see too many grows with soil high enough to need dolomite for lowering pH.

When growing organic, you should not need to adjust pH if you have a healthy microherd in the soil. Mine would generally swing from around 6.3 just after a feeding to 6.7 when the soil was almost dried out (using a soil meter). GMan, did you add a myco supplement such as Great White to your mix? If not, I would get some in there with your waterings and that should help kick start the microorganisms so they can buffer the nutes. With organics, I do not mess with pH at all unless there are signs that the plant has some serious issues. You can adjust your feedings to manipulate the runoff, but that's just putting a band-aid on the problem. A healthy organic soil will feed the plants without your help.

I'm ignorant as hell when it comes to organics, so I can't help you there, bro. Sorry. On another note, I'm subbed in, so maybe I can get organically educated while watching your grow!

Good to have you along Bandit, welcome :)

Cheers sour, nice to see you man. Thanks for the info with the equilibrium.

Cheers Elvis. I've been adjusting the ph successfully on my previous (non organic) grows. I was hoping not to do it at all this time round.

Hey Andy, nice to have someone with your experience stopping by :)
I did use myco, can't remember the brand off the top of my head. I think the soil is reasonably healthy, I get a white fuzz forming on the top of the soil.
I was hoping not to have to worry about ph with this grow, but I wanted to check before it got too late.

Really appreciate all the help guys, thanks for stopping by :)

Are you getting any run off with 1ltr?
My 10l pots were drinking 1.5ltr, watering every 3rd day.

Yeah sorry guys i wasnt 100% sure lol. Should of checked first really
