Germination question

Hello AFN !
Something is unclear to me regarding the post germination process, i.e the phase where we plant the sprouted seed in her final pot.
Should I wet the soil, or not ?
If so, to what extent ?
Last time (first grow) I didn't humidify the soil and I think that maybe the plant was stunted - but maybe I'm wrong lol !
Anyway, if someone could clarify this step, It will be a relief because I will start my second grow very soon...
Thanks !

I have a question regarding biotabs instructions :
At stage 4 in the manual it says "soak the medium with bactrex and orgatrex mixed in 1l of water ;
Isn't it too much to pre-soak the medium before planting, and then add the mix of water at stage 4 ?
@Bob's Auto's
Thanks !
No, I wouldn't do that...The medium will get to wet.
Just soak with the Bactrex and Orgatrex as it will help in activating the bacteria inside the medium. If you're sowing seeds straight into the soil I would soak the medium before you sow. This way the seed will stay where you sowed it. :thumbsup:

Thanks Bob. I think I will try to sprout the seeds in plugs, then plant the seedlings in final pot. But still something bothers me - I like to understand fully, and above all I don't want to reproduce the mistakes I made with my first grow...

- Biotabs doesn't pre-soak the pre-mixed soil - they say to add 1l with bactrex and orgatrex after planting the seedlings.
This method is ok to plant seedlings in plugs), but not so much for seeds, correct ?

- I've read here and on other posts that it is best to pre-soak the mixed soil (and do the handful test), then plant.
I guess this method is better for planting seeds directly in final pot ?

Am I right ?
I need it to be clear before I start.

Yes, that's how I did it. I feel that when mixing large quantities a tarp is a useful tool. And while your at it you could as well soak the soil with the Bactrex and Orgatrex. The purpose of those two products is to activate the soil life and what better way to do it while you are mixing your soil :thumbsup:

So I started 4 seeds, 3 days later 3 of them sprouted.
I'm a little concerned because I don't see the first set of leaves growing - should I put them in soil right now, or wait 2 or 3 days longer ?

Temp is 25°C - 77°F and RH 68%.
I'm doing the Ronin way of germination.

What do you think @Bob's Auto's ?

Give it a bit more time. check the underside of the cube's for roots and if you see them plant them in soil. :d5:

Hi !
Can someone remind me when should I set up the 18/6 light schedule ?
Today 3 seedlings out of 4 are in soil, under Lumatek 200 led light which is set on 20%, at around 60 cm from plants, 24/24h.
