Anyone doing General Hydroponics for autopot coco coir setup? Does it work well once dialed in. Would love to buy AN but it's 3 times the price. If the only difference is ph adjusting I am willing to do that to save money.

Hey man, I use FloraNova in coco in XL autopots for years and get plants like this. It also has a pH stabilizer, at least says so in the description and i never measure

I grew two beautiful plants this year using the modified lucas formula (GH Micro and Bloom only throughout the grow). Worked well and yes in coco in autopots.

Just want to mention that AN can be very cheap so don't give up on them if your assumption is its always going to be expensive. However obviously you can still look at GH. Tony's post above is pretty telling, but obviously plants that big come down to more factors that just the nutes.

There is a schedule from Tang for autos called the simple or easy schedule that uses just 4 products from AN. Perfect PH Sensi A+B Bloom (no need for the Grow nutes). Either the coco version of regular. I opted for regular and use a bit of calmag. And for supplements AN Carboload and Overdrive. That is it. I bought 4 Liter bottles of the nutes and 1 Liter of the supplements and it was around $100. If you want to look at a journal just google Tang's Easy Schedule for Autos, or use the search function on here on AFN. I like the Perfect PH for sure. Less stress for me to worry about.

I use the 3 part flora series. Grow micro and bloom. Added cal mag.
Great white and mammoth p.
Have ran these in soil dwc and now coco.
I have no complaints. And for the cost its really good.
No problems with taste or anything of that nature either.
Here is a soil grown photo and my current dwc auto. Both fed whats listed above.
Both are on the larger side.

Do you have a link for the feeding schedule on the modified lucas formula?
