Here’s a little peek at my garage grow box that I made to grow a couple plants in. Framed everything outta 2x2 and used 3/8osb for flooring/roof/walls. For the doors and front I used some 1/2” plywood I had laying around.

I put a partition inside to separate a 4x4 compartment, with a side compartment consisting of 2 shelves just under 22” wide.
I primed the interior with some Zinsser Bullseye white base coat (Mould and Mildew resistant) and sealed every gap inside with some caulking.

Applied some Mylar film to the walls and doors, put a vent in the bottom of each chamber to allow for passive fresh air intake.

I used a 4” Vivosun in-line fan for exhaust, mounted onto the roof, with some ducting connected to the carbon filter inside the tent. Connected to a speed controller to adjust and compensate for temps and humidity inside.

Had a Viparspectra 900w to hang in the main compartment (2 autocobs for supplementary light on either side is in the works)

On the smaller side up top, I have 4-20w led twisters(200w equivalence) hanging from the ceiling which I used to sprout all my plants in solo cups and humidity domes. Then down below I have an extra shelf for supplies, and below that is enough space for me to hook up my diy water pump for when I’m away from home for a few days (do my watering by hand otherwise)

Temps are always a steady 75-78, and the humidity is easy to maintain anywhere from 50-70% with a small Vick’s humidifier inside. Without it on the garage always maintains about 25-30% rh.
Thanks you to everyone who takes a look, I’m no carpenter by no means, buts as someone once told me, smoking pot leads to carpentry, so a few bong rips later here we are with the completed piece lol. Currently have 3 plants from CKS on the go, so I will be creating my grow journal and getting everyone caught up to where I’m at so far. Forgot to mention, this is my first kick at the can for growing my own, so it should be an interesting ride along haha.

“...smoking pot leads to carpentry...”. I’ve heard that before coming right out of my favorite aunt and uncle back in the 70s. So dang straight to that comment. We’re also electricians, plumbers, mathematicians, biologist, entomologist, agronomist (us soil folks) and I could go on. Love this shit. Even more addictive than growing my veggies and native flower gardens.

Hell of a setup you created. You gave me an idea for my room that I need-some shelving. Thanks for sharing!!!
