Anybody used these? They look like the same light; dimensions, spectrum, even some of the same words in the spec's. If you've tried it, how do you like it?

Amazon product ASIN B00PH1MQV8

The Galaxy gets really good reviews on Amazon but if the PopularGrow is the same unit direct from the mfg. as I suspect it's a bunch cheaper.

I was about to order a 250W HPS but ran across these. If I can get at least equivalent results then I'll go LED.

I don't see the Galaxy unit on Amazon showing up here. If you go to Amazon and search "galaxyhydro 300" it should show up.

I bought a 300w galaxy off of amazon the not dimmable one. I def jumped the gun im growing a photo plant right now its nice and bushy about 2.5 foot. But i wish i woulda done more research and got a better light id like a gn but im in the u.s. I havent found many real grow reviews from this light. I bought a hps just for flowering but i may use led to supplement bc im not ready to start another grow yet.

It's a good light, I'm pleased thus far. I will probably get another after x-mas, I know they don't really hold a candle to GN's but the only thing that beats a GN is the sun!!! As far as I'm concerned for less than a dollar a watt you can't go wrong with a Galaxyhydro.

Nugnubs- im trying to figure out the next best thing performance and price wise behind Gn a 5w or 10w idk whatever i can find the best deal on. Plus im in the u.s. if you come up with anything let me know.

So far I'm really happy with the PopularGrow/GalaxyHydro. My Candy Kush at day 32 is putting on some buddage and doing very well in general.

I'd recommend these lights! They may not be the best ones out there but I think they're second to none in bang for the buck.

I hear ya bro I am looking too. However I hear GN will be offering a US plug version for us guys on the other side of the pond at some point, that said it seems to me that either a Platinum LED P300 https://platinumgrowlights.com/products/p300 , or the California Lightworks Solarflare 220 http://californialightworks.com/product/solarflare-220-fullcycle/, or a Pro-Grow X5-300 https://www.hydroponicshut.com/hydroponics-hut-pro-grow-x5-300-led-grow-light.html would be the models too look at I think. I will be suffering from LED envy if you get any of these! :smoking:

I too am thinking of getting a galaxyhydro 300w, I'm glad you guys have had some experience with it to give me an idea. For the price it really can't be beat I don't think! @NotAllThere love those results, just sold me on this unit !
@NugNubs I was thinking about a platinum led for the longest but I think I'll just wait for GN to make a cord for the us

Yeah I'm probably gonna go with the galaxyhydro for the price since this is gonna be my first grow. I've actually thought of buying a converter for the NG light, but it seems like all the converters are us to uk. Not uk to us.

I've been using the Popular grow 300w since April and so far I'm extremely happy with the results. I am actually wanting to upgrade as to expand my space and am looking at the popular grow 800w COB led from the same ebay seller ........ I was wondering if the OP is still happy with the light u bought as by the dates it looks as though u purchased ur light long b4 I bought mine...... is it still working out good for you after all this time? Looking forward to hearing back :)
