Live Stoner Chat Which Vape are you guys using ?

A. Sublimator

B. Hell yeah

C. Shit loads

Now the daily driver is out of the way it's onto the rest.

Silver surfer good value desk top unit that kicks arse
Logs good value desktops, more suitable to sipping or micro dosing
Solo good quality portable
Vapor genie Good quality portable, butane torch required
Dynavap Good quality portable, more a single hitter, butane torch required.

I have Arizer Solo. Ceramic chamber with pure glass stems. In tests this is in top 5 vaporizers and a lot cheaper than DaVinci or Firefly which in my opinion are the best vaporizers on market today. Type "vaporizer reviews" in google and check sites for more info you need. Glass in best material because don't influence on taste. And Solo is okay to use it at home or everywhere, I don't know why guys says it's too big. Have they soft tiny hands??

Longer stem is also better on Solo than on short as is on Focusvape. More flavorful and less hot.

I would recommend Solo also over many other options. Having two them being around for about four years, being in heavy use daily and still kicking. They are very reliable. Thing is that it cannot beat Focusvape Pro with the draw resistance and the quality of vape if you use the bubbler attachment, in my opinion. However, on the go situations when and if you cannot use the bubbler for stealth reasons, Solo will take the cake as for the cooler vape. Also, even though it comes with a robust longlife battery, you cannot change it without some soldering work etc. that I've actually done in order to extent their lifetime because of the old batteries getting too old limiting the usability of the unit. Solo is powered by a 2S 7.4V Lithium Ion battery pack. The original capacity is 2200 mAh. You would need similar batteries, 1 x 7.4 Volt 2S PCB and JST connector to make a new batterypack. In more reasonable vapes these days, they use standard batteries you can change. Arizer actually did this for their "Air" -model.

All in all, Solo is still a good choice for both home use and on the go for sure.

Hi BushDktr,

Thanks for this recommendation.
I've been and had a look at the 'PAX' entries on ebay.
It's a device with a lot of accessories... especially cleaning accessories and 'odorfree' carry cases.
Which seems like a thoroughly good idea to me.

I have some questions about the PAX 2 device... I hope you don't mind me asking:
(1) does this device have a temperature display. I guess not but i just want to check.
(2) At first i thought this device would take heat from a lighter, but i notice that you can
buy a "recharging base unit" for it. So presumably it's electrically powered.
Is this device battery powered, or perhaps it plugs into a socket ??

Thanks for your help BushDktr :)

So, the device has 4 temp settings but it doesn’t display them, and has other combinations you can set if you use the app (yes! An app controls the device via bluetooth if you wish). You charge the internal battery with a contact (magnet) charger cable connecting to any USB you can plug to a socket or directly to your computer, very convenient!

Can’t remember how life was before the Pax

If your looking for a table top a arizer extreme. Got 2 model's love them both. Awesome, use it balloon style how I use or whip. Got newest 1 3yrs ago on eBay $150 may be cheaper now. Great vape

I have the Herbalaire H3 lite. Awesome tabletop! We use it every night with our bong. Simple design and easy to used. The also have a forced air model that uses both bags and a multi whip attachment.Lite was $169.00

I have an underdog, arizer air and dynavap m.

lately I've been mostly using the dynavap, but since a few days I've gone back to the underdog+bong again.
the arizer I use the least, but of all my vapes it's the best fpr groups, no special technique needed, and only extra explanation I have to give to people who never use vaporizers is to inhale slow and long.

technically I also own a vaporgenie, but I've borrowed it out to a friend so it's practically his.

the underdog goes great with a bong, and it's nice that it's always on, so no pressure to finish a bowl, just take a hit whenever I want and put it away again.
the dynavap has the same thing going for it, but since it can give nice heavy hits, and also has a short airpath, it gives you that *oomph* like smoke. and one hit can hit you pretty good already, so really nice for gaming, take a quick hit and continue gaming.
and it's a nice small size, and cheap for a well-working vaporizer.

both also work great with hash.

the arizer air is great too, I just find myself using it not that much with those other 2 options around. with how it works it forces you to commit to a whole session, while I like it most to just take a hit now and then. and I have to remember reloading the batteries.
however it's great as foolproof vaporizer to introduce to people who never vaped, or when you're too stoned or drunk to handle glass or do a special technique(like with the vaporgenie), you can still use the arizer air, it's just turn on, wait for warmup and inhale, don't need to function well to do that.
