New Grower G14 and AKR

Thanks man. I appreciate it. I'll do my best with what I got. I'm already seeing things i "need"to buy for future grows.
It gets a addictive hobby and can get expensive I know you will smash it just keep it simple

Day 3 update: I gave the plants a ph watering and lowered the lights another inch to 23 inches above plants. Temp is 75 degrees. First pic is AKR. 2nd G14. Both about 1 1/4 inch tall.

Day 5: added 1/4 strength photosynthesis plus just now to get microbes going. My Afghan kush ryder is 2 inches wide and 1 half inches tall. My g14 is 1 and half inches tall and 1 5/8 inches wide. Hard to measure one hand and take pic. But i measured properly first lol. First pic is g14

day 6 nice growth for just one day after adding photosynthesis plus but i need some advice. New to leds. So im unsure but this looks like a phosphorus deficiency with leaf turning purple. Or is it cuz light is too close. Noticed it before adding the microbes so its not that

It's hard to tell from the picture with the grow light on because the soil looks purple too. You might want to get a pic in white light.

I think there are a couple things that can cause some purple color. Cold can do it and really dark green(but healthy) leaves from lots of N can have a purple tinge(mine do). P deficiency can too but I don't think it usually happens this early. It usually happens during flower. Oh, and I think some strains can have purple.

I don't think the light would do that but I don't know for sure.

I know it's not the advice your looking for but at least some things to consider until someone smarter chimes in. :goodluck:

Thanks time, i think it could be the fox farms soil. But i can take another picture later but i checked it over without the light and it is purple. I wouldn't think it would be a P deficiency this early either. I've seen some Afghan kush ryder with purple in it but unsure if it happens to seedlings. May be too much N in my soil. I found out after i bought this soil its a little hot for auto seedlings. But i mixed it 50/50 with happy frog and flushed it before planting. My lights are 24 inches above the plants. Lowest temp has been 73 degrees. Highest is 78. If this helps you or anyone who needs more info. The plant has grown a good bit for 24 hours so it doesn't seem to effect growth as of yet.

Phosphorous deficiency turns the stem purple/redish and leaves can be blueish tint with brown blotchs, maybe your just seeing the purple from the led is probably too soon for any deficiencys with that soil as it has all you need for at least 3 or 4 weeks.

Could also just be the strain also strains have different phenos kind of like how people have siblings that share many traits but are different in other ways one of the strains I have now has both a purple pheno and pink pheno.

Thanks, even with no light on its still purple. I think you may be right Which I would not be upset if it was a purple pheno lol. I'll see what happens over the next few days.
