Fuggzy atones while talking dirty

Sounds awesome man!!!! I've been interested in a no till also. Hope to see you do one!!!!
The first time I read about no till, I was hooked. I loved the idea, and now just need to dial it in correctly to my environment. These are my 5 gallon no till pots. All but the back right plants are in year old soil, never dumped. Sorry I know they blend in a bit, but there are 4 no tills there total, and 1 tilled. 4 males, 1 female.

The plant in the center is a female that was chopped already, I was going for a bumper crop. This is her right before harvest.

I really wish I had a microscope to test some samples. However being that I am a FL resident I can send samples in to my county, and they send it off to the University of FL and get a complete fertility test for like $15. Speaking of which, if you didn't know your county agricultural dept normally offers at least soil pH testing pretty cheap, and it's likely to be more accurate than checking run off. I want to say it cost me like $3-5. If your county doesn't offer anything another good place to look is at local colleges, and University. They all for the most part will have an agricultural dept, and students that need "subjects" to work with. Anywho, no I'm just stoned and rambling... Talk to you later bud. :smoking:

Ya fresh fruit was my favorite as a kid. I did not like candy much. My mom once when I was about 10 or so gave me $50 in food stamps for my birthday because it was all we had and she cried when I came home with bags of fruit and no candy. I think she might have took it the wrong way and though I was starving for food or something looking back but a cantaloupe was like a snickers bar to me. One of the best parts of X mas was getting oranges and a coconut lol.
Wow man that brought back some memories. I used to get a coconut for christmas too. :d5:It was like hitting the jackpot! Even at 33 if someone gave me $50 in fruit for my birthday, I'd be pretty happy. My wife hates when I make fruit salad. My son and I can eat a weeks worth of fruit in 1 sitting.

That's cool.... I have a 20x10 greenhouse that I'm going to do two no till beds. I would like them to be sips. I'm a member of a tlo foram and those guys promote no till like crazy. If I remember correctly they said it works best with bigger pots, that the life in the soil likes their own levels in the soil, but once you have them established you just keep them happy. I've never tryed it.....yet. I do have over a hundred gal of tlo soil to hopefully use. Normally I use 30 gal tubs out side. I will probley start there. Good job and keep up the good work..... Take it easy

Use coco coir instead of peat. coco is a renewable resource, peat is not. I switched about a year ago, and my soil has never been better!
Hiyas Pop, thanks for stopping in. :bump:
So far the plan is to phase it out, and go full coco. I already love the coco, and haven't even grown in it yet. I just can't afford to ditch this soil and start over.:frowny: I am doing a 3 way comparison with the old, new, and just coco/casting/rice hulls. I'll just be giving the 1st 2 water, and the coco I'll use earth juice nutes on. I learned all the not so great stuff about peat and perlite after I started...

Just start blending it into your recycled soil, that's what I do!

Looking Good!

Its no till for me also, partly because I'm not allowed to till as this is rental property, but also, you'd need a case of dynamite to "till" a 10x10 plot... we have about 2 inches of soil here then shale. And I prefer the control you have with containers vs in the ground.

Damn, can't wait to get the new greenhouse!
