Quick question:

The first frost is around the corner Oct 5.
Plants are outdoors in pots
Maybe 2-4 weeks left in flowering
Would it be okay to bring them in at night? (would the lighting indoors stress them out?)
I would then take them out in the morning if not to lazy (have work early and always in a rush)

Yes, you can bring them in at night but put out in the day.Or if you have lights bring them in and keep them on 12/12

Exacaly what Namvet said heres some anti-frost karma :wiz:

Thanks I would bring them in and do 12/12 but only have a 150 watt hps
not powerful enough.
Thanks guys

Yes, you can bring them in at night if there's a chance of frost. The plants are already used to the shorter days and any supplemental lighting isn't really necessary at this point. Soil temperature is more important at this point. Once the roots starting getting into the 50s growth is going to slow anyway. You may see some of your stems and leaves turning red/purple. As soil temps cool it inhibits the plants ability to uptake P, which caused the color changes.

Noticed a few leaves turning purple, if i bring them inside would the light cause them to stress?

No, I doubt it. You could just bring them indoors at night to a warmer, dark place and put them outside again in the morning.
