thats what I was thinking, I have 5 bluestreaks going and 2 bubblesworth and I am dying to start some duurty dragons.

I just discovered a light fixture in my garage that has 2, 4ft, T12 lights in it, is their any way I can use them to enhance my grow?

T12s aren't bad. But the T8s, 10s and 12s just aren't as strong as the T5 and certainly not the T5 HO(High Output). But if you can easily fit in your tent with no problems or anything I don't see where it would hurt. It won't create much heat at all and you can get it real close to the plants. You can also switch those bulbs out for better T12s and that would help. plantlighthydroponics.com sells T12 so apparently they are still in use. Oh ok, I couldn't find it on the bulb but from the looks of it it's a 2700k

That sounds right. I think that's usually what normal 'shop lights' would be. Like I said, if you can fit them in go for it. What do you have now?

right now I have 14 cfl's 7 2700 and 7 6500, I might just leave it like it is since it seems to be working out so far, I don't wanna mess anything up.
