Indoor Frogster Autopot "Zamnesia" Grow

Subbed up! Sorry I slacked on keeping up with your last thread! :pass: I'll make sure to keep up with this! :pass:

No need to apologize Bro, I know you Mods get real busy..... thanks for taking the time and happy for you to have a seat... ( I saved some nice comfy VIP ones)....

Just over here, your holiness.... :worship: :pass:

What do you have planned for LST?
:pass:

Well.... It will be tied lower branches and a bit of shaping, but, until I see how the nodes develop I am not sure yet how much they can take... (It's really just an excuse to get the ropes an chains out, for a bit of bondage :naughtystep:).

If the branches are hard to shape, and the strain allows it, I may add a dash of silicone in the watering / feeds... to strengthen and allow the bending of the branches... will wait for a few more nodes yet.:drunks:

Hey, Thanks for stopping by....

Pretty much this, I think, although a few other toys may come out to play.

It's the set-up I used for my last grow, and I was happy with the way it all worked. But, I do like to tinker and improve on things if I can. So it may change as we go along.

Ventilation / Intake

  • Outside Air from Ground Level >>> Wall Hole Entrance with Bug Screen >>> Ducting >>> 5" Systemair High Volume Fan >>> (Enter Tent) 5" Ducting >>> Diffuser (to be fitted)
Filtration / Exhaust
  • 8" Rhino Pro Carbon Filter (800m/3) >>> Reduced to 6" Duct >>> Powerplant Aerowing Air Cooled "Sealed" Reflector >>> 6" Duct >>> High Velocity Systemair 6" (720m/3) >>> (Exit Tent) Acoustic Ducting >>> Wall Exit.
Lighting
  • Lumatek Digital Dimmable Pro System, 600W 400v
  • 600w 400v Dual spectrum enhanced bulb & MH & HPS 400W bulbs
  • 600w Mars Hydro LED (old style), for side fill if required
  • Fully adjustable height of all lights to Max Height if required (Flexable ducting on Light Hood)
Environmental Control
  • 4ft x 4ft x 6ft Tent
  • Evolution Fan / Temp / Rh Controller
  • 4ft Tower oscillating fan
  • Assorted clip fans
  • Humidifier / Fogger with variable level, pumps cooling fog to plants
  • De-Humidifier
  • Home Built Humidifier / De-Humidifier Controller
  • TFA Kilmalog Pro with 4 sensors in tent, recording temp & RH every 1 min.
  • V20 Air Pump
  • Tube Heater and backup 1K fan heater
  • Other Bits & Bobs.
Medium Etc
  • Autopot system, Dual Grow & Bloom Res
  • Ferro Nutrients (Regional Adjusted)
  • Airdomes
  • Water Res Pumps
  • Soil & Pebbles, (Canna Terra Pro)
One other little thing I like, but has made all the difference... the De-Humidifier is fully height adjustable, so you can raise or lower it as required, space saving. The height also allows the De-Humidifier to run water back to stock, outside tent.
Wise choise of strains and an impressive set up!
I look forward to a good read.

I have faith they'll take off soon bro just building a good root mass

Yes I agree mate, Root Mass is critical and I think plants concentrate on that if the substrate allows, and mine should be good. I can see one starting to build leaf today..... Thanks Bro.

While I love variety, my scientific streak means that seeing 3 of the same with some variations in growing techniques means that we can more accurately what the effects of differences in nutes, LST or no LST, etc. will do to the same strain. Obviously best with clones, but still can be done with the same strain. If nothing is changed at all, we can see clearly the phenotypes, and thus how stable the strain is. Just my 2c worth.

I currently test different nutes and containers on 6 FastBuds Green Crack.
In this work, I have realized how difficult it is to study autos. The variation between the individuals in the population is large. If you want to discuss science, please stop by my lab.
