Indoor Frogster Autopot "Zamnesia" Grow

Day 7

Nothing much to report, 3 girls (slowly) growing. They always seem to take forever to get a hold and get going .... then.... if previous grows are anything to go by, they take off after about 16 Days.

They are under humidity domes, 400W @400Volt HPS, 23Deg, 85%RH. Just Ph'd water (5.8) to start. They have had a spray of "Ferro - Deon" to stop any nasties getting in and protect the plant leaf later in life (preventative).

So, here are the girls today...

Day 9

I have to say, these are the slowest growing Auto's I have grown so far...

They seem to be taking time to get a foot hold, That's not always a bad thing, some plants are slower than others to start - then put a spurt on and race off to the finishing post.

I can see development and they look healthy, so I will just wait.

Still under humidity domes 23deg, 80%Rh, lights 20hrs on / 4hrs off.

I will continue running 400W HPS at 400Volt.... I will wait a bit before the lights get turned up to 600Watt HPS, then at about day 15, I will add in 600Watt LED for side fill and lower node development (with a bit of LST)

I hope they catch up soon and shoot on, I want to start playing the LST game with them.

Day 10

Not a lot to report.... The plants look to be spreading their roots into the new pots... all looking well at this stage.

All plants were potted up from the jiffy starter plugs into Autopots. This means I can use the Autopots Humidity Domes to raise and keep the Rh% to around where I want it.

I like the Autopot Humidity Domes, they fit the pots well, are tall & wide and will accommodate the plants growth for the first two weeks as seedlings. They are easy to control, with the vent on top and work well. I Definitely recommend them.

I have a clip fan (out of shot) above the domes, just stirring the air slightly.

I run the plants on a 20/4 cycle during growth stage, the plants night-time is actually 12:00 midday to 16:00Hrs

Running the temps:-

• Plants Day- at about 28c deg and Humidity at 72%Rh constant.
• Plants Night- a few degrees less temp during their night period, down to about 24c deg and the Humidity between 72 & 75%Rh.

Temp and Rh% Chart for last 9 hrs or so.... Nice and steady.

I have decided to keep with the same nutrients I used last grow, I was pleased with them and I am interested to see if this strain likes them too.

However, they will not be getting anything in the way of food for another 2 weeks yet (enough in the soil).

But I will be watering with Ph'd water - down to 5.6 and gradually up it to 5.8. I will add "Ferro - Roots, Crop & Enzyme Plus" after a week - again there is enough in the soil as it was boosted with "Charge" and root stuff.

oh.... and I always add just a very small drop of "Superthrive", I have found the plants like it and I love that yeast smell !

One other little thing I like, but has made all the difference... the De-Humidifier is fully height adjustable, so you can raise or lower it as required, space saving. The height also allows the De-Humidifier to run water back to stock, outside tent.
