Mephisto Genetics Friendly Grape Crinkle grow battle - Anyone welcome to join in

And I prove my own point, one too many dabs and I pass out :).
I'm excited for everyone's involvement so far, i have my beans right in front of me and im eyeing them up salivating waiting to start.
I can't decide if i wanna keep going the organic route (which, with the way its going, won't produce the amount of bud that others will get but is a lot easier feeding), or go with the mephisto super soil... I'm still waiting on my double grape, i don't know what happened there but no response from daz (mitch replied very fast to the email though). So I'm a bit weary of getting the supersoil mix from mephisto because of the timeframe so i did just get some ffof soil and I may just try it out and see how hot/not it is.

Is it too late to join?

Nope it's not too late, first set of beans drop on the first and there's a two week window to get set up.
I need a grape crinkle though who's got em

I don't think we should be worrying about yields to much yet miss that will come with experience, get the basics right then it's time to play, for me organic or as close as I can get to it is the way to go, I can't get that supersoil in Europe but just adding water seems a great and stress free way to grow, mephisto uses biotabs now, again just water and watch then grow, I bought a biobizz starter pack after a thread I read of his wheret he used it and bought the same soil as they use makes sence to grow them in the medium they was concieved in I think, welll to begin with lol I sure my imagination will run wild again when I see some monster grape crinkle get posted, so for now, grow to our means and abilities is a good plan I have just as much respect for someone who can grow a small plant with a couple of CFLs in a paint can as a monster under a light array that puts the sun to shame lol,

I do agree, being able to grow in conditions meant for stealth are just as cool as growing monsters. Jobes organic 4-4-4 spikes are working well for my toof decay and it's gonna be a zip if I'm lucky. Not even 30 days in and it's already better than my first grow. Some others are giving me pics of their grape crinkles that are being done in similar conditions as mine and it's inspiring to say the least. My mind just runs away with me too. Learning is what we are all here for. I'd like to do a solocup or even better, a shotglass challenge later on and see just what can be done in little space... maybe a coffee can grow is in order. I have a few 1 gallon air pots I'm going to try to grow something in once the gc is done. Just not sure what I wanna grow in a small container, I know the double grape is going in a 3 gallon.

Glad we are getting more and more on board! I've been shamelessly inviting newbies over here from the sun academy in hopes others get to have a good learning experience and have a fun time together.

I'm getting more and more psyched by the day. I'm glad I waited on starting the gc seeds. The frost on those are nuts! Even the fan leaves have trichs on them. I just salivate everytime I see one.

I'm going to due this whole run with Mephisto super soil I'm not worried about large yeilds I just need for me will be interesting to see difference I used fox farm trio on my first grow got almost 10 oz with a lot of mistakes I think I will do just as good letting the soil due the work.
Being disabled watering is so easy for me and the times I get to vacation at hospital my better have can handle the water. And I don't know if I ever smoked any grown organic in the 18 years I smoked so I'm very excited to taste it.

I would love to due a solo cup I don't think I could pull off a shot glass lol but we could try.
Quiet awhile back on internet I read some journals on solo cup grows they did pretty good but I don't think they were autos.

IDK if you've read some of my other posts, but ive had a couple killed off due to hospital stays, one of the suggestions was auto pots and those are just too expensive for me, so i've been looking at doing a small irrigation system that is just set to go off every day or two and give it enough water so i can get them to go through without issues.
I am super impressed by my jobe's organic spike's (4-4-4) abilities to work so well. At first i thought it wasn't going to do well, but then I realized that I am not even a month in, and just now its starting to explode, my toof decay gained an inch of height in the last 12 hours!
If the supersoil works well, then i will have to try it. Mephisto guys were so backed up i just couldn't get soil amendments in time so im going to try to do one grow with the promix+jobes spikes and after the toof decay finishes try to do one with the FFOF and nutes as a project that way i can learn the nute programs needed. But if i do get the supersoil mixes then im gonna just go organic.
Nothing beats organic smoke. On my last toof decay i didn't get a big yield, but the smoke was so tasty because it was all organic, i couldn't believe the difference in taste between the commercial "organic" grows versus the jobes spikes organics. Sure jobes spikes cost more, but i really think half of these commercial growers are liars and are really using nutes.

I don't think i could do a shot glass either, but it looks like an incredible feat. A solo cup challenge i think is on the way after this. now to decide the beans... Maybe another grape crinkle because they are such nice plants and seems like you can get a great yield on them. But we're getting a head of ourselves, first things first, we gotta get this gc going! Counting down the days till the first!

To all, I think around midnight GMT on September first 2016 is the proper time to start the germination process, i think it's okay if you are start a half a day or so before the start time of midnight gmt would be okay as that's not too much of a head start. I am planning on germinating right about midnight gmt on the dot :)
