At least here on AFN if there is trouble there is always someone right there at the top that comes in and takes charge of the situation. On "another" site I actually had someone call me a bad name and when I reported it they did nothing and could have cared less. that is why those sites are like that, no one in administration cares so they get away with it. I mean, sounds weird, but I was a new grower and nervous, and this dude made me cry.


I gave up online boards until I found AFN. I didnt post for a LONG time in fear, but saw that this site was different.

I found AFN and was in heaven. Caring folks who are laid back and just love growing!!

So true...it is no accident that this place is so mellow. It just wouldn't be that way without the good folks above

I find AFN is a bit heavily moderated compared to what I am used to. I had to get used to it and I think I have a handle on what is tolerated and what is not. Almost got banned. Had a couple of warnings. But I've been a good boy now for a couple of months now mom.

When I was just getting in to this hobby I spent 3ish months lurking on all the usual sites and came to the conclusion this one had the best vibe by a big margin. Yes, its different, in a good way.

AFN is hands down the best online forum of it's type, I was on a few others including riu before finding afn but I found alot of ignorance especially towards auto's,
This place is like a breath of fresh air compared to other forums, friendly members, lot's of info and knowledge on hand and maybe most important... No TROLL'S

I've been band from Roll it up and Grow weed easy. Roll it up was having a bad day and some dude talked the wrong shit about my autocobs / grows and the rest is history BigSm0 told me to tread lightly when it came to autocobs on RIU . I slid to AFN only because I was growing Short Stuff HBD. I just never switched back to GC. The peeps here (to me) are way easier to chat with, easy going and most of all, 99.99% of the peeps are supportive or lend advice. The 0.01% is, well not everyone is perfect, oh well. And Autos have come along way. Used to only grow photos and in soil. Now grown many autos, tried different methods of growing, and learned a lot of useful techniques and info. All because if AFN.

the only dumb question is the one you wont ask due to the fear of harsh comments. People here help each other...thats what it's all about. Being kind and generous with quality cannabis growing information is AFN.
