Focusvape Pro
I recently bought and posted a review of the Focusvape standard model, a damn fine vape in my book, especially at a retail price of $119.00. I planned to replace my DaVinci Ascent but the deal fell through and I didn't have $199 to spend.
I Decided to look for the Focusvape Pro a minor upgrade from the Focusvape by adding digital controls and upping the max temp about 15 degrees to 445F.
The pro has the same, nice clean design with an excellent silicone skin that feels like leather! No cold plastic or metal to handle! The oven is all ceramic and this vape is a hybrid conduction/convection vaporizer, giving you the best of both systems. The oven holds about .3-.4 grams, a good load.At 385F I get about 10-12 hits before I get that popcorn taste. I've pushed it beyond that and still didn't burn the weed. It did get dark brown.
The mouth piece is silicone rubber with a removable glass tip. The mouth piece screws on, a nice touch in my book, it can't fall off. Inside the inner mouth price opening is a metal screen holder. Behind it is a ceramic filter . They work fairly well. I however prefer my draws to have low restriction to the airflow so I remove the stock screen and filter. I remove the glass tip and push a .375 screen in the opening and seat it with a packing tool.
