First Flood and Drain grow attempt. Popping 4 Mephisto Sweet n Sour autos. Using 6x6x6 rockwool cubes. With Optic 1 Cob led. 1 Viperspectra V300 and 1 viperspectra R300. I have already ordered 1 more of each. Im also using a TDs and ph probe continuous meter for my reservoir. Just waiting on seeds to germ. Then I will place them in 1.5x1.5 rockwool cube until they sprout or I see a root poke out. Then I will place in bigger cube.

Checked on my seeds this morning about 36-38 hours after starting germination and all 4 have popped. Mephistos germination guide worked flawlessly. I put them into rockwool cubes In humidity dome temps range from 74-77.

@HydroGrower Welcome to AFN. To get someone’s attention put the at-mark @ in front of their AFN name like I did for you. @archie gemmill will be tagging you with some important AFN information.

I cannot get a perspective on the size of your cubes? The biggest potential problem in a flood and drain is that if the flood does not completely flood over the top of the cubes; you will get a toxic salt build-up at the water line. To alleviate this potential problem water/fertigate over the top of the cubes once a week. The idea is to rinse out the salts from the cube. Good luck and Happy Growing.
