New Grower flip flopping light spectrums

Anyone know if it would throw plants a curve (American baseball analogy) if you moved them back and forth from a MH to an LED? I think I know what the answer is, but if anyone has actually done it I'd be curious if there were any ill effects.

I'm asking for a practical reason, not just as a brain twister.

Probably not good. Different lights affect the chemical processes in the plant differently. If you were to do it. Do it in their dark period.

Switching from MH room to led room when the lights are out would probably do minimal harm.
