Indoor Five's Round 3 Auto Attempt - 2x AK49 + 1x Super Skunk - Coco/Perlite - CFL/LED

Update

Check out the crazy amount of stretch that is happening right now. There is so much growth happening I can hardly look away! Each afternoon is great to come home and open the cabinet to find three girls I can't even recognise from the day before.
LOVING IT!! lol

Have bent the main stem slightly on both the Super Skunk and AK49 [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] but have left the AK49 [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] alone to do its thing. I have however tucked away the insanely massive leaves that were blocking 90% of the light from the plant. You can see a lot of the new growth coming up now.

Have a look and let me know what you think. Node spacing has stretched out quite a bit and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not but would love to hear your opinions :)

They're looking good. How old now? I think mine started to explode around wk5

Update:

Girls are in to their fith week of life and still going strong, although the SS appears to have some rust coloured spots on a couple of the older fan leaves. It could just be from nutrient spillage but I will keep an eye on it to see if it spreads. Really hoping it isn't fungus, I really don't want to deal with that crap lol.

Here are some lazy pics, couldn't be bothered to remove them from the cabinet to take some pics so you have to deal with the pink light from the LED. Apologies, but will take some more in the next day or so.

First lot of flowers have appeared today, so what I thought were pre-flowers turned out to be correct lol.
Did some more lst and did a light defol to remove some of the very bottom fan leaves as well as a couple of the large fan leaves that were blocking half the bud sites. I can see light penetrating all the way to the coco so should be good for bud production.

I also stuck a Soil pH probe in to each of the pots and came up with readings around 6.5-6.8 which is a bit too high. So I'm hoping by feeding daily at around 5.7pH it should bring it back down. If it doesn't in the next couple of days I may try flushing them. Just don't want to stress them out right when they're beginning to flower. So I'm thinking the daily feeding is a better and less stressful solution

Update:

Nothing much to report other than we now have a whole bunch of flowers popping up everywhere. There is more every few hours. I absolutely love opening the box each afternoon and looking at how much has changed from the night before or even that morning.

Been lazy on the pictures so I waited until the light switched off and just used the camera flash so everything isn't so pink. Was a bit hard to focus in the dark so pictures aren't perfect but you get the gist.

Super Skunk - You can see the rust spots in the second picture. Hoping its just cal or mag deficiency.

Update:

Still chugging along nicely. Haven't noticed anymore leaves showing deficiency on the SS but have noticed one or two of the oldest leaves turning yellow on the AK49#1 and looks like it could be mag deficiency. However it may just be the old leaves dying off due to not being needed but will keep an eye on it and see how it goes.
Had to remove a few more leaves on each of them today as they are causing the cabinet underneath the canopy to get very moist and I'm worried about mold. Only removed some around the edges so they weren't pushed against the sides of the cabinet so much. Humidity under the canopy has dropped a lot now and is closer to what is just above the canopy which is around 60-70% so I think we're back in the green zone.

I've realised now that the LED I have in the cabinet isn't sufficient as it isn't able to cover the full canopy properly. You can see the middle plant (AK49#1) is much more developed and larger than the other two and you can see it is getting much more light too. I keep raising the LED every few days to try and get more coverage but the girls keep stretching so it seems like what I do makes little difference.
I'm really hoping to have a larger tent setup soon so I can have more space and am planning to have two LED's installed to get full coverage. I still plan to use the cabinet as a vege room though and have the tent as a bloom room so as to speed up harvests. I just need someone to come around and help me fix the roof of our shed out the back! Any offers are appreciated!! ;) hahaha

Update:

Girls are 7 weeks old now and still looking good. The middle one (AK49#1) has a few burnt tips and at the time of taking this photo was looking pretty sad. I'm not 100% sure what she was looking like this so thinking she may be thirsty, I gave her a little plain RO water. Only got a tiny bit of run off but measured 410ppm 6.2pH so I think that is ok.
I didn't have time to wait and see if she perked up or not as the lights turned off for the night but I'll keep my fingers crossed and take a look in the morning.
I think the stretch has stopped now but I'll give them another few days before doing any major defol, have already done a little so far though.

Pictures!

Some new nutrients and Coco for next round ;)

If anyone is using the Canna Coco range and can point me in the direction of a good grow schedule I'd really appreciate it. I've had a look on the website but I found it a little confusing.

Update:

Girls are 7 weeks old now.
I Have seen some great results from other Auto growers who remove a lot of the undergrowth from their plants once they had finished their final stretch. After some great advice from users like TheBeast, I have removed a lot of growth that wasn't seeing much light so the plants could focus on the top bud sites and hopefully pack some weight on.
They look pretty bare now but tops are still looking green and healthy. You can really see the difference in the amount of light each plant is getting though, AK49 [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] is miles ahead of the other two and AK49 [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] is way behind lol. I know what I have to do to manage them in this space now and I believe one of those things is using a smaller size pot. This wasn't anywhere near as much of an issue in the last round, but the plants have grown a lot bigger this time and I haven't really done anything different except use a bigger final pot.
I've decided I will do another round of Autos due to how quick they grow and how much fun it has been watching them. I'll hopefully have a bigger space in the next couple of months but if not, using the smaller pots will help me mitigate the space issues I have this time.....I think. Please let me know if you think this sounds wrong though, I'm kind of guessing a bit.
