I finished up setting up my grow room once again, I am kinda worried about stabilizing temps this summer with both 600 w lights, but we will see. I moved the two large plants under the HPS for flowering and budding needs.

On a side note: Did I make anyone mad? I am slightly underwhelmed by the amount of participation. Maybe I am wrong, but I have a lot of followers and very little participation! I need your vibes and help people!

I'm still following along Kill. I'm just a bit overwhelmed at the moment to get intimately involved in every thread in the New Growers forum.

Thanks Mr. Waters, I am just kinda confused, I am trying to be forthright with information, showing my enthusiasm and pictures and I am getting a low turn out, meanwhile, some threads that started weeks or so later than mine have DOUBLE the views.. Am I a bit jealous? yah a bit, but it's more of jealousy of conversation about the grow.
When I was in Basic Training, I relied on mail to help get me through the lack of familiarity, and this was many many moons ago.. and that is the analogy that I am using here. I need the "mail" to help make this a a success, I plan on doing a strain trade program after I make my first batch of seeds too. Maybe we can make a forum category for that?

W: Duurty dragons H: Ak-48 or something like that heh.

Thanks everyone, don't pay much mind to what I am saying, just if you read this, and you have a thought, no matter what spectrum of energy positive or negative it may be, drop it down here.

We need more Muddys.

Hey Killijin, I'm typing now using positive energy and sending out green Karma.
But I'll be honest with you, you kind of threw me with the link to your "help requested thread that is part of this thread"... I tend to be very careful about commenting on remedies and things like that- I can tell people what "I" would do, but sometimes I'm not so sure if it's the right thing, so I don't comment. I'm sure a lot of people following along with this thread feel the same. Who knows?

But I subscribed to this thread and was hoping to hear if you added the meal to your soil and if it helped any, in this thread, where you asked about it. No sweat. No, nothing made me mad, just confused.
So tell me, did you use the blood meal? Did it help?

Happy 4/20! :smokebuds:

Killijin--looking at your photos--outstanding. If this is a first or second with so many plants you are doing a great job. The plant with the curling leaves. What strain is it and when did it begin to curl. Most often it is a high temp. and/or low RH issue, particularly, if it comes out of the blue. From the photo it is in the upper canopy = higher temp/less air circulation and possible lower RH. I have a NL with a very very serious case but it began when it was a seedling. In this section most of us try not to overreach the moderators with advise, unless, it is some universally accepted basic info. that we have picked up along the way. However, experienced growers will not hesitate to jump in if they see a serious problem. You can see a picture of my NL from a few weeks ago in the Infirmary section--it will make your plant look like a world class model. I too subscribe to your tread.

Marijuana is anything but an exacting science, unfortunately, random variables suck when you are trying to reach one end goal. You can feed and do everything right, and still something can just happen where the plant is like: "Meh, I don't feel I am getting enough magnesium, I know you fed me and it was pretty delicious, I am just going to be a selfish bitch just to see how much you really want my sexy cannapussy.." shrug.. What can you do? Can't pull her damn hair. She will just get more upset.

@Alan Smithee - THanks for the words of confidence, 3 are photos, one of which is outside and looks magnificent and is not demonstrating any of the yellow leaf problems I am having with every one of my indoor plants. I have no idea what strain they are, maybe after they flower, I can take pics and you all can help me identify it. I been trying to keep humidity at a constant 55%, which is hard to do. Thanks for looking and responding.

I did add the bloodmeal and it is currently coursing through every plant, I just have no idea why they have demonstrated an N deficiency, it was only on the petioles below bud branches that have the fan leaf. Odd that really. Have no idea.. Here is a picture of all the plan material removed : SDC14438.jpg

Anyways I am going to make a separate grow thread for my hydro grow. Probably make it in a few days. I have one runty smurfberry that is not growing fast or rooting fast despite being loved. I have waited on it to show an exposed tap root from the bottom of the rockwool but its over a week now, so I am going to put it in the hydro set up and see how it does. The hydro setup will be nothing but 6 gallons of distilled water with about a total of 1 tsp of superthrive to help for the next few weeks in root production.

I dunno if am I feeding my lower branch the silver colloidal properly or what but this is how it looks, if anyone is familiar with SC please tell me if this is how it should look: SDC14442.jpg

Here are how my two fully flowering plants are looking, one has thinner flower sites and is 42 inches tall, I think she has stopped vertical growth now though. SDC14441.jpgSDC14439.jpgSDC14440.jpg The second pic is the cola on the shorter plant.
I am about to start feeding them both a water soluable feed of 11-35-14 with micro nutrients. I also received these http://www.amazon.com/Exhale-EXHALE...SAZC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1335198769&sr=8-1 finally today, I am going to place both bags I received, one on top of each grow light, that way it trickles down over the sides.

Here is one problem that is over every single leaf on the smaller plant SDC14443.jpg this problem is on EVERY single leaf and ONLY this plant, I think it is ozone damage however, the plant and buds are overall healthy in appearance, and I can't find anything else that could explain the look and the coverage otherwise. Any opinions?
Thanks for looking!

No reply makes me a sad panda, anyways going forward!
Day 50: No new pictures but plenty of information. The two flowered plants are thickening and ripening, I just fed them on Tuesday the 24th a feeding of 11-35-14, 1 tsp of epsom, 1/2 a mil of super thrive, and worm castings tea. They both have moderate to severe ozone damage ( one of the negatives of a generator being within proximity of the plants) but it doesn't seem to be affecting them at all.

All the photo plants seem to be on the mend are giant considering how much larger they will get once they 12/12. They all stand at least 36 inches tall.

3/5 of the white russians were just fed a 1-2-3 feeding of 2 ml micro 4 ml of grow and 6 ml of bloom to coerce them to flower, since they are completely behind for some reason. It is day 50 and although they have sexed they have not went into full pre-flower/flower mode. Time to get in gear plants. They are 25, 27, and 28 inches tall respectfully.

The other 2 baby white russians have sexed and are doing well, I haven't decided to give them one more veg feeding or give them a bloom feeding to speed them along. They are about 22 and 20 inches tall and dunno what to do exactly, so any input would be great. I will have pictures on Saturday perhaps tomorrow.

My beginning hydro grow in the bubbleponic system is a bit of a hit and miss. Everything started fine, but I found the water green and slightly algae'd within 2 days of set-up, turns out, hydroton rocks don't block as much light as they should. So I placed duck tape on the edges of the rockwool cube over the hydroton to keep light out and then put 6 ml of hydrogen peroxide to kill off the algae. WORD OF ADVISE: Do not use SuperThrive in a hydro system. It will murk your shit up and grow anything that is in it to a dark green, regardless if distilled and sterile! Also before you turn anything on, lift your lid up and look underneath for light leaks.

Thanks for reading if you have any comments let me know! May the smoke be with you!

Killer Thread Bro. Subbed in and along for the ride. Can't wait to see your hydro setup.

The Hydro babies are all growing and doing well, it is amazing how hard it is to keep hydro water ph balanced. You really have to have a + and - .3 value to the optimum PH level in order to compensate for the rise and fall daily. SDC14456.jpg You can see the one runt in the bottom right hand corner but I refuse to pluck her, she will produce buds and I will nurture her to fruition!!!!

The two flowering plants are doing well, despite given full bloom feed at 16-35-16, the one tallest is clocking in at 45 inches. Here is photos of her: SDC14459.jpgSDC14457.jpg Her cola is starting to build up and she is in full flower mode now, but still is slowly growing as well. After she is harvested I will be starting an Auto Blue Mammoth in her place. Or the next plant if she is harvested first.

Here is the stockier and more budded plant, she is building colas nice and big but she has a lot of leaf damage in the form of yellow spots all over her leafs. I dunno what has caused this other than the ozone generator: SDC14446.jpgSDC14447.jpgSDC14448.jpgSDC14449.jpgSDC14445.jpg

Then there are the other plants and as you can see in the last picture the one photo has strong upper leaves but spindly lower growth, this is what happened to all my plants nearly, they all lost the majority of the lower fan leaves.. Really sucks! Yields will be affected I gather, and then here are the 5 other auto's that are being forced to flower: SDC14455.jpgSDC14452.jpgSDC14453.jpgSDC14454.jpgSDC14451.jpg

Going to have to learn some good pruning techniques. Thanks for looking and reading!
